For 16 years your state govt cant even attract an investment even those that want to come through the front door. Because you people are trying to form a Caliphate in that side of Igboland you always like to keep outsiders away so that they will not open the eyes of the citizens. I heard your home to the largest concentration of muslims in Igboland and they are planning to build a muslim university in your state, the day your the indoctrination will start we will barricade you guys in Oji River. Backdoor and frontdoor investors you cant attract because your of cavemen mindset. Your monthly allocation is being shared by the elites the Northern way while they keep you guys scattered and brainwashed to believe outsiders are always your problems, you dont want to go back to Egyp yet your in Somalia, you dont want people taking ove coy through the backdoor yet your frontdoor reeks of insular behaviour. All these almajiri style of leadership your elites are propagating in the side of igboland should only have you people to hurt. Even the said coy is not own by you but by the Eastern Region govt, FG and Sir Louis Odumegwu, i pity you guys achi4u: 2 Likes |

You lives in Nnewi, works in the same Nnewi and probably you could be working in Ibeto's company in Nnewi or comapny own by an Anaedo son, so this how your making jest of Ndi Nnewi after liberating you from the shackels of your thiefing elites and you come here to say you dnt want to be caged....lol caged by who? Who is caging you, you have been left off the hook since 91 yet your worst than being caged, your nothing but victims of your own creations and live in the conspiracies of your own identities. achi4u: 4 Likes |

The case of Emeka and Geometric is pure business when you look at it from the legal perspective. Emeka Offor bought Disco for distributing while Geometric built for generating, Geometric will generate and supply to discos for distribution because its under her jurisdiction. Geometric have only lincense for generating not distributing. Its disheartnening they have not being ablw to resolve this for a very long time, its very unfortunate and shameful to us all and pls dnt bring a Gambariman into it abeg. biafrandream: 5 Likes |

Not that am justifying people being cajoled or using words that depicts people as inferior or bad but in every community of human existence there must be underdogs, yes all fingers are not equal as the saying goes but come to Awada, Okpoko, Nkpor and Iyiowa and see how these guys are making it, they are building multi storey buildings and buying landed properties with abandoned joy. Look at what their elites are saying that they dnt want another "recolonization" or "going back to Egypt" imagine such statements maka chukwu ndia di mma iweputara ezigbo aka biko lacosanostra: 6 Likes |

Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by spyder880(m): 10:47am On Nov 16, 2014 |
biafrandream: I am hoping to package the whole deal for N600,000 per each single plot of 60 x 100 ft. The price will include the cost of settling the agents, lawyers agreement fee, surveyor's settlement as the community has not paid him, elders rites and community development levy. But expect the youths to come and worry you again when you start building. I also hope to bring a caterpillar grader to chart the streets. I hope to deliver the signed agreement documents proving ownership to interested buyers after payment of the above mentioned amount of money. But remember that you are still likely to pay a surveyor to lift the document on your own name from the source document. Another thing you might spend money on is the registration of the land in the state ministry of lands. I am planning a model for the estate, but I need to know how many people are interested. I will buy some myself because this is a good investment opportunity. Even if I don’t build and decide to sell in some years time. Na serious money be that. 1 Like |

lacosanostra: That is an issue nobody wants to consider and that is the fact that no human enjoys being looked down on. I am not from Ebonyi but I have lived at Abakiliki. We should all put ourselves in the shoe of Ebonyi people, who have to bear all manner degrading abuse, as inferiors from other Igbo States. They have endured this abuse over the years and it is natural for them to fight back. As someone noted, Izzii people gave their lands away to strangers, who built houses and industries on them, the same strangers turned back to call them foolish and primitive people. The way we treat others when we are at an advantage matters a lot and people would always want to have their pounds of flesh when the time comes. I don't support the idea of denying Ibeto the opportunity of buying the cement factory but I don't totally blame Ebonyi people for whatever action they took, which they feel is in their own interest. Looking down on people always push the victims into becoming saboteurs, as we witnessed during the war. Igboland will be better if all of us can work together as equals. 10 Likes |

OkijaAmaka: I really don't wanna delay this people's thread but there is a mindset an average Ebonyi man harbors. He is unnecessarily afraid and defensive. and I am sorry because I can't tell you why. These dumbos think somebody is trying to marginalize them,as if there was an incident like that in the past. Ebonyi people are scattered all over Anambra making money and earning a good living but we are not bothered. We accept them with open arms just like we did for Enugu and Imo but you can see how they pay us back . Ibeto should leave those insecure midgets alone! 2 Likes |

biafrandream: This lady too funny shaa..lol Madam, there is no love amongst Igbos...get it in your head. Enugu state goverment after creation of Anambra sacked all Anambra civil servants on their payroll. Imolites and Enugites mock Anambrarians and call us ndi ogwu ego, illiterate traders and Omata boys. So,stop getting emotional over trivial issues. Let Ebonyi grow thick skin and man up. As for me,ffuck enugu and Imo....Anambra is my priority and that won't change. spyder880: The rail is still the colonial narrow gauge! I thought GEJ was going to build the modern gauge? South Africa still use their coal powered steam engine train to transport people and goods across that great country. The cross country train ride is also one great tourist attraction in South Africa. The abandoning of the railway has stunted Nigeria's development. All those lorries moving tomato, fuel and livestock to the north could have been taken off the road and smoothly transported via the rail if Nigeria had invested in this sector. Just imagine if we had a cargo train with this number of coaches carrying all the agricultural produce, yams, livestock, tomatoes etc from the north to the south and when its going back, it hauls all the petrol, imported goods etc back to the north. Each of these coaches in the size of one 18 wheeler trailer truck. Imagine how many 18 wheelers were taken off the South African roads just by this singular trip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duOWTl7el0g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yC5fEYuazoc The second use of the SA rail system is tourism and basic transportation of people around the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmjJ4Lzb4oU 4 Likes |

OdenigboAroli: The bolded is not entirely true. Somebody has to jump start the freshly created Anambra state. Anambra after the creation had very few experienced civil servants living in the new Anambra state. Most of them were living and working in Enugu. The Anambra civil servants, on request of the new administrator, had to move from Enugu to Awka to kick off the new state. How else do you expect a freshly created state with zero civil service structure to take off ?. Same thing happened when Ebonyi was created. It has been like that since the federal govt. started splitting the old Eastern region. Most civil servants living and working in Enugu had to go to their new states to begin the administration. Especially the very most senior civil servants. 3 Likes |
