to be honest only someone who has not been to abakiliki for the past 8 yrs would say it is backward....having gone there 3 months ago i had to eat my thoughts of how the place used to be. 1 Like |

Is this ghetto(abakaleke) what you call 'beautiful'? Abakaliki is still a terrible and horrible place without even drinking water that is fit for human consumption and coupled with the infestation of guinea-worm rampant in the town and state at large. Compare the picture you posted with the one below. Abakaliki and entire Ebonyi state is still very very backward, timid and the least on the table of development as far as SE and Nigeria is concerned. Its as simple as that. liberty300: 5 Likes

Nobody is saying that Ebonyi is not developing at all but their rate of development is quite minimal and the least compare to other SE states. One hardly hear of any good news from that state. It is a state circled by its few enlightened elites while greater population of the people are suffering in abject poverty. Today 2/3 of Ebonyi people are resident in Anambra where most of them are engaged in petty businesses and menial jobs, this is because such little opportunities are not even in their state that was why they moved in droves. Its time the rest of the SE go and rescue Ebonyi because at the end of the day it is still part of the SE. asha80: 3 Likes |

EASTVIEW: Chino, Be very very careful. Yesterday, you logged on your other moniker and start posting pics on here. Be careful, we won't warn you again. Saboteur, you claim to have denounced tribalism yet we see you everyday fighting your brothers while you continue licking the yolobaas's arses. Argue with Achi4u rationally, stop insulting him like you have been doing. Last warning. 5 Likes

You gave out our facebook usernames and assisted the insurgurls in making the cyberspace familiar with Customized pics. Now,people are comparing Abakaliki and Awka....and for what ? Just to pull the Anambra man's pride down...hahaha I know we are surrounded by enemies who are jealous and hateful of our successes but he who God has blessed no one can curse. Look at how the Egytians/enemies have gathered to slit our throat but God is with Umu Omanbala and we will always be miles ahead like the Israelites. They celebrate beautiful streets without economic importance while we drive industrialization and create thousands of jobs even for their own unemployed youths. May Omanbala be blessed! 2 Likes |

EASTVIEW: Chino, You very keen on seeing this thread derailed for reasons best known to you. But I will disappoint you this once as I won't post any pics Like I said, you will be ambushed on another thread. In another news, Anambra thread has been for almost 2weeks with no pics while you are busy attacking your brothers. All thanks to Tabletman and Fxo14, that thread would have gone down the drain. 1 Like |

Mehn, we have lot of idiots here already! Anyway folks go grab a copy of Flavour new album, "thankful". I finished listening to wiser ft MI and Phyno, nwanyi mbaise, igbo amaka, wake up and inasonki. There are 21 tracks and I will take my time to listen to the rest. I think Nwanyi mbaise is mixed with a lil flavour of the old Ghanaian highlife beats. Grab your copy now!! I felt I should share this, I no relate to flavour in anyway o, I appreciate the way he promotes Igbo language to the world via Enugu City. 7 Likes

ak47mann: I wonder if concessioning the railway on regional basis as they did with the power DISCOs of defunct NEPA would attract the required upgrade of our railways. The FG clearly has no capability to improve railways nationwide, not to mention the malignant tribalistic mindset of some people to any project outside their geopolitical zone. |

I bow for FG. Didnt they say portharcourt-maiduguri line is almost complete? I dont know if a train can run on this bridge |
Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by ak47mann(m): 4:10pm On Nov 17, 2014 |
cjrane:It can be possible if the rail-wail corporation management is done on regional basis even though the Federal government cannot do it alone private investors can take charge and improved the system so they can benefit very well from it in the long run |
