Sir, you mean a company making profit after tax from N1,201,528,000 to N21,965,569,000 is not a fantastic result in your own view Don't worry the immediate bull run you are expecting (on Oando) might caught u unaware!

"Catch" you unaware. I agree with you though.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ifeykay(m): 3:06pm On Nov 17, 2014
Bros, we must be looking at different results. OANDO PLC reports as a group not company. The OANDO PLC Revenue was down by about 4%++ and a PAT of 10.7billion an EPS of 1.26. Is that fantastic? Remember Q2 PAT was over 8billion in essence QOQ was less than 3billion.

OANDO PLC HAS A BUY RECOMMENDATION FROM MERISTEM." Monday, 17 November 2014 www.meristemng.com . OANDO PLC l OANDO's Q2:2014 turnover declined 30.60% on the back of low sales in the fuel marketing segment of business. Owing to expansion of activities in the upstream operation albeit at the expense of fuel marketing we expect full year turnover decline to moderate to 6.00%. ● Cost of sales inched up slightly by 1.89% to peg cost to sales ratio at 51.24% (down from 51.46% in 2013:Q3). ● Cost-to-sales moderated in Q1 2014 to 83.04% and declined further by Q2 to 74.04% we expect this ratio to be sustained by 2014FY given the higherc margin upstream operation. ● After Tax earnings worth NGN29.83bn was declared to sustain a double digit expansion (PBT up by 10.52% and PAT by 11.29%) despite weak top-line growth ● Increase in finance cost of 75.43% in Q1 2014 and 266% during Q2 originated from servicing of loans secured to finance recent upstream investment, we do not anticipate a change in this development by 2014. "Buy recommendation with a target price of N28. 82

Tony's doing the needful; the Delta State gubernatorial elections are due very soon.

BGL, Tony's other brainchild, has set a target price for the conglomerate at NGN 8.26.

The stage is now set for some faster rate dynamics!

PS. For peeps like passwelle, it's time to make some cheese... grin

I mean I did that with Continental Reinsurance Plc. And I actually typed that I had just bought it and I intended to dump it. Next you know, one Ogbeni likes my comment and probably buys the damn stock!

Of course Dexter dumps the monkey once it hit his profit target.
