Depends on what she's been doing. If she douches, that needs to stop. She needs to stop washing her underwear with detergents, and use only mild soaps. It could also be an STD. An appointment with a gynaecologist should be on the cards. 68 Likes |

It s normal and healthy for you to have some womanly odor. However, strong womanly odor can be the result of douching, excessive washing, wearing clothes that are too tight and certain chemicals in your soaps, among other things. This strong odor can be embarrassing. If you personally feel that the smell is too strong, here are some tips on how to eliminate womanly odor. 1- Identify any infections. If you want to stop womanly ordor in its tracks, you need to figure out what's causing it first. The most common source of womanly odor is an infection. This can range from yeast infections, to bacterial infections, to STDs/ STIs. The best practice to make sure that this is not the case is to go to the doctor and have them check you out. That said, there are a few different ways you can gauge if this is your problem: If you have a lot of chunky white discharge, you probably have a yeast infection. Medicine for this can be found easily at any drugstore and many grocery stores. You might contract a bacteria infection if you don't practice proper toilet etiquette. Do you wipe front to back or back to front? Wiping back to front introduces bacteria into your womanliness and can cause infections. If you think you might have contracted an STD/STI, just go to the doctor to get tested. This is the kind of thing you need to know for sure, for your own safety and that of those around you. 2- Check for imbalances. The womanliness is kind of like a rich ecosystem. Everything has to exist in perfect balance, and that balance can be really easily upset. If you use soap, antibacterial, take baths that are too hot, go in pools frequently, use scented pads, use lotion too close to your womanliness, don't change your underwear often enough or use underwear of the wrong material, or a large number of other things, you can cause your little ecosystem to get totally out of whack. Basically, avoid using those things and just be very careful about washing every day with water (no soap!) and wearing clean clothes. 3- Embrace your natural odor. Lots of women don't like the way that their womanliness smells, but if you ask their boyfriends those guys will say they love it! Don't underestimate your natural odor. You might associate it with being unclean, but....do I really have to tell you what guys associate that smell with? They don't want you to smell like flowers down there, they want you to smell like...er....well...you. If you've figured out that your smell isn't caused by an imbalance or an infection and that it's really just how YOU smell, you should probably consider coming to live with it and embrace it. 4 - Consider that maybe it's him! Certain sexual practices can also cause womanly odor, either from his bacteria colonizing your body or just the smell of sex itself. Nevermind if you're taking the sexual practices outside of Missionary 101. Consider if this is the reason you smell different and take whatever measures you believe are warranted. Just going to put it out there: putting it in your butt and then putting it in your womanliness is a TERRIBLE idea. At least switch condoms between these activities. 5 - Check for foreign objects. You know, it happens: sometimes you just forget you have a tampon in there. Sometimes the occasional condom (or piece of) gets left behind. These things can cause an odor as your body tries to get rid of the object. Check for objects and get them out! Leaving tampons and pads on for too long can also cause smells, even after they've finally been changed. Change them frequently to avoid that. 139 Likes 11 Shares |

U mean it smells down there? So badly that people around can perceive the stench?! ..I think d cause of d odour is from the inside and not about washing or bathing regularly. There was one time in secondary schl,a female senior student had this horrible smell coming from her "below region" and d whole schl later found out she had d&c but there were still remnants of d foetus inside which caused d smell. Tell ur babe to go and see a female nurse or doc, shez got somethn inside of her that's causing d smell. 49 Likes |

Wonderlands: You read abt how to ameliorate vag*na odor you come dey yarn abt armpit n elbow-pit ni . @op, you re a lady i supposed thus shud be in a better position to help her out on this by encouraging her to go for proper testing in the first place cos the way you ve portrayed it, it's almost outta common bath issue not that proper bathing does not count buh if it's sort of infection it ll surely be needing proper medications. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Just to debunk what a poster wrote above. It is never normal for a womanliness to smell. i mean never! Once you start to notice any smell from mild to pungent, then something is definitely wrong in your vagina, cervix or any part of your reproductive organ and urgent test and treatment is required. Symptoms of Vaginal Infections include mild to pungent odour, discharges, abdominal and pelvic pains, womanly scratching, boils, blisters, pains/wounds while urinating and sometimes fever and mouth blisters/ulcers. I will advise that your friend goes to a good laboratory and conduct Urine MCS-HVS Test. She would be given the right antibiotics to treat her womanly odour. she should also carry out pelvic scan, hiv and hepatitis tests. A normal womanliness is odourless, painless and dry 31 Likes 1 Share |

Ok so by 'womanliness' I'm thinking you mean something other than BO. Since she's aware of it, I'm guessing it's a really big issue. As a friend, try to find the solutions with her (since it appears as though you don't know what might help). Support goes a long way! (^_^) 1 Like |

Bathe regularly and wash IT thoroughly with mild soap (no antiseptic soaps), wash up every time u pee and dry pat IT, wear clean dry underwear always, air dry IT for the whole night(ie, no panties to bed). Lack of doing these things are the major reasons why IT smells... oh, have a very clean sexx partner, and always wash up after copulashun, or better still don't have sexx at all. My penny! 3 Likes |

i once met dis pretty lady with lotta swag around year 2004, very pretty, i must confess.....on one of our date, she collected my blueface samsung, so i decided to take it out on her, coz she wasn't ready to give me my fone back, so on the next date, as usual, she pointed to an eatery for us to relax, but i drove past and headed for the nearest guest house, convinced her we needed to go deeper in love (intimacy), she agreed after like an hour (a short-time was 1k then, but who cares, i wasn't gonna give up), so i shouted back to the receptionist, dat i was gonna pay for the next one hour, coz they usually knock to remind you of hours spent (lol). so we got down......as i inserted, damn, a bad odour came out, at every JACK, a puff sound bring a bad odour, mhen, i opened my eyes, she was closing hers, certainly enjoying the ride, at a point....i couldn't take it again, obviously, she dint perceive anytin since it her body. i stood up, when for my samsung fone, removed her SIM, wore my clothes and told i i was leaving, by this time, she also had flared up, throwing me serious insult. i just paid the receptionist, went to the garage, entered my car, den ZOOmed off. 17 Likes 3 Shares

The Vayjayjay is a self cleaning coven. Use Only water to wash, never use soap especially inside. Say no to Douching, from what i have heard from my girlfriends who douched, its not a pleasant experience. Always clean with baby wipes or tissue or water after urinating. Keep that place trimmed, it is not a mangrove forest. The more hair you keep, the more the fluids there stick to the hair making it smell. Avoid those things they call Vayjayjay perfumes, it has terrible side effects. Avoid too much spicy foods especially garlic and onions, trust me, you'll smell like that down there if you consume too much of this. Lastly, wear clean cotton underwear so that place can breathe. Avoid tight jeans especially for long hours. 51 Likes 8 Shares |

Em ..... Va.gina odour can be due to number of reasons such as bacteria growth, yeast infection, hormonal changes, poor hygiene and STD. If she feels itching, burning or irritation in the va.gina area, then it's an infection. SOLUTION-Garlic is a natural anti-biotic that can be great for dealing with va.gina infections as well as va.gina odour. The anti-fugal properties present in garlic will help her body get rid of bad bacteria. Administration-she should eat raw or cooked form of garlic on a daily basis. She can eat one or two raw garlic cloves on an empty stomach with a glass of warm water. She can also add garlic clove to her dishes. Another option is to put a piece of garlic on the va.Gina for an hour or two.She should do this daily or a few times a week. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Step 1 Shower everyday to remove sweat and bacteria from your skin. Wash your vulva--the external areas of your vagina--daily with mild soap and water or skip the soap and instead use water alone. Soap can cause vaginal irritation in some women, leading to increased feminine odor. Water alone is sufficient to clean the vulva effectively, according to the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, or ACOG. Step 2 Avoid using feminine deodorant sprays, scented tampons, feminine wipes, scented toilet paper and douches. These products can increase feminine odor by causing vaginal irritation, bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections. Douching changes the pH levels of the vagina, making it less friendly to the good bacteria that ward off infections. ACOG advises women to refrain from douching to "reduce the risk of getting vaginitis." Step 3 Wear cotton underwear. Cotton is a breathable material and allows air to penetrate the fabric, which reduces feminine odor by keeping the vagina dry. Change your underwear once a day, more often if desired. Wear a nightgown and go pantiless at night to give your vagina an extra boost of fresh air. Step 4 Reduce vaginal odor by trimming or removing pubic hair. Sweat and urine can get trapped in pubic hair, creating undesirable odors. Step 5 Reduce odor related to excess sweating by sprinkling a little cornstarch in your underwear. Cornstarch is mild, unscented and absorbs sweat. Step 6 Change your tampons and sanitary pads every three hours to reduce odor related to menstrual blood. Warnings Seek treatment from a licensed medical professional if you have unusual vaginal odors, discharge or other abnormal symptoms. Gray, green, lumpy, fishy smelling, unusually strong smelling, or unusual amounts of vaginal discharge can be a sign of a sexually transmitted disease (STD), a bacterial infection or a fungal infection. Vaginal irritation, itchiness, burning and irritation are also possible symptoms of infection, STD or other health problems, including cancer. Tips Feminine odor, amount of vaginal discharge and consistency of vaginal discharge naturally fluctuate throughout a woman's menstrual cycle. The University of Maryland Medical center notes "emotional stress, ovulation and pregnancy" are normal causes of increased vaginal discharge. Things You'll Need Mild soap Unscented toilet paper Unscented tampons and sanitary napkins Cotton underwear Cornstarch 12 Likes |
