My ogas. Thanks for everything. I would continue asking questions, since this forum gives adequate answers. Okay Walspring Edbid Horayce.... I am late for spring admissions; i have not written the GRE (Nov 28) and TOELF. So i guess i have to plan for FALL 2015 ? Is the fall an ideal time to seek admission? Also, Guys, i have been doing my homework; you hear schools asking for research work and work experience( i have like 5 months of that, but no research except a UG project). Hope my chances are not bleak? Lastly, advice on choosing between a research based grad program or a non-thesis program? i am in a quandary. Thanks God Bless. |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by bigfrancis21: 4:32am On Nov 18, 2014 |
DrCaleb: Nope. You don't upload passports online if filling the form from Nigeria. You take it physically with you to the embassy on the interview day. One copy only, and 2" by 2" in size. |

gbaby4live:Yes you can. Email the school bf give them cogent reasons why you would not be able to attend the school this spring. Then you can enrol for sat and TOEFL and apply to the school of your choice. |

Please guys when one is already in US, is it doable for one to defer ones admission at a particular uni and transfer to another uni for a particular term, without transferring his sevis record from that uni to the other uni he wants, for that very term? |

dicapino:This is an ideal time to apply for fall as ur application would be considered an early one. About the research and work experience part, it depends on the course u are applying for - some schools will be stricter on d work experience and research than others. I personally think graduate schools don't expect much from African students in work experience because they are aware we don't always have opportunities to work.in our related fields. Just get a great score in ur Gre and apply to any school that offers ur course and that u Meet their requirements. The project is good enough research experience, in my opinion. Success. 1 Like |
