Before you fully relocate, take a week trip to confirm if you would love your chosen locations.

Ilorin is cool place, easy to live and peaceful...renting here vary depending on the areas...but you could get 2 to 3 bedroom flat from 100k to 150k, self con or a room and palour 40 to 80k ..depending on area...cost of living is very low compare to other states, the only problem is making money is kinda hard here....no much high paying jobs except you have a good capital to start something up..

Ibadan is cool and social life here is far more better then Ilorin...More so,enonomy here also bouyant ,peaceful and attractive.Ibadan is tipped after places like Abuja,PH,Lagos .But as earlier advised by other nairalanders,try as much as possible to make your survey between the two cities you have mentioned and the kind of job you intend to do here.Shalom

bodescious tnks.i wil surely visit thr.
Re: Hello by justwise(m): 9:32am On Nov 16, 2014

@OP

You probably will be receiving PMs from people offering to help you with accommodation and stuff....this is my opinion...be very careful. It will be safer to visit any of those cities on your own without connecting anybody from nairaland.

It's good to get info about business opportunities, accommodation and life in general but be careful dealing with anybody here who 'volunteered' to help.

Good luck.

i'm also planning on relocating to Ghana after my ND programme. do i stand a chance of surviving?
Re: Hello by iamord(m): 6:15pm On Nov 17, 2014
Op akwaaba in advance. Am one of your very own. Well ilorin and ibadan are good choices. Although I would have suggested ilorin and lagos. Lagos is a bit expensive .what are u coming for so I will know how to channel my suggestion.

I hope a man is not involved in your decision to relocate. Just becareful and like someone else suggested visit the place (preferably not alone if you have someone you trust that could go with you) and check the place out.

Of course if u don't know anybody it will be a bit uncomfortable. You must have something doing that will bringing u steady income. Since u don't know any one itts better u got for visit
.study the place from time to time. so that u get ur ground
