^^^Ever wonder why the use of roots, leafs for medical and spiritual treatment are expunged from hadith is so suspicious when Quran clearly permit the use of them?.

Plants In The Quran
In Quran have stated that the fruits (plants) as a source of sustenance which God has given to people and animal for their life. 2:22

Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith Fruits for your sustenance......

This verse states that God has given man all for the man himself. He has also been created to grow - plants (fruits) that we can use for our source and income.

Abasa: 24-32

Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it); How We poured down water in torrents; And We split the earth in fragments; And produce therein corn; And Grapes and nutritious plants; And Olives and Dates; And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees; And fruits and fodder; For use and convenience to you and your cattle.

This verses explain that Allah gave human his sustenance consisting of plants and specifics. Vegetation and the specifics make food from the ground, water and sun. Allah make it easy for plants to make food. Vegetation is required by human and animals. In short, they are depend on one and another.

Some of these plants are for health and some for spiritual as well. Someone quoted hadith earlier suggesting the possibility of using other practical means along with Ruqya so long it doesnt involve shirk. Problem is we are our worst enemies. In modern times, it's so suspicious why muslims neglect this part of Islam. It's now being portrayed as "unlawful" by mainstream muslims. Meanwhile, they have no problem from taking modern medicines.

Let me give you example, in Indonesia few yrs ago, local farmers found a root medicine during their research, it's called Tongkat Ali. It's a root extracted from longifolia. It's kind of bitter though. Anyways, according to these farmers, they said it's good for immune system, Support general health and vitality
• Enhance Male Performance
• Support healthy blood circulation
• Decrease body fat
• Slow the aging process

It is like powder after they finished the process. White folks went there and drank it raw. So bitter. They brought it to US and UK to test it. Asexual white woman used it and began to feel sexually active towards her husband. But prior to that, some muslims in Indonesia already criticized it may be poison etc. But White folks arent comfortable with raw. It was later transformed to capsules. Readily available for everyone. Both muslims and nonmuslims use it now. Something local muslim farmers researched and tested on their own. But now Oyibo take credit for it because their muslim brothers would not take heed.

My point, these plants are on earth for reason. Do modern muslms think Oyibo capsules fell from the sky?. We simply deprived ourselves from God given gifts that early muslims used to use. We now rely on modern medicines, we take our sick and disable to non-muslim hospitals because we neglect this aspect of Quran and Sunnah but cling only to text. White folks now extract Vitamins(pill), male enhancement(pill) Aspirin from "Tongkat Ali" originally researched by local muslim farmers now credited to White folks. Sad!

The man I was talking about on other thread uses local herbs for both health and spiritual (no shirk involved). However, dua has always been his priority. Back in the 90s, a Nigerian woman was brought back home from UK with stroke. Imagine UK cant find solution to her problems despite their advance medical research. She was brought in crippled but by Allah she walked out of this man's house without medical device or aid.

We went to market and bought whole lots of different roots leafs and began her treatment in the Name of Rahman. Some she had to drink, some with food. We also organized prayer where she sat in the middle. This is correct method not just reading. It's because of this "leftout" heritage we now have to depend on the West for medical solutions and science. And guess what, what we left out is exactly what Oyibo adopted. Believe it or not. I sincerely wish this sister triumph in her ordeal.

Am so sorry dear...i tink u got married to a jinn because i have a neighbour that have similar problem or lemme say same problem....and the people talking u should go to hospital are just wasting their time...fortunately she got married this year around February.....i dont even know what to tell u...because there was a mallam in my neighborhood who deals with this kind of issues...and by Allah's might de got cured...presently my sister is having same problem getting married to a jinn buh she is getting better since ve been seeing her with guys lately...Buh i will help you ask the malam about the medcines, potions and duas dat you should be using...buh is not easy...because i think u need someone who is not afraid to be reciting the Glorious Quran when you are unconscious i.e when the jinn is active in your body...am sorry bout your sickness....!

@Empiree, I don't think anyone is saying there are no medicinal plants or cures. It is when those who claim to be Muslims turn themselves to "sorcerers or babalawos" in the so-called quest for such knowledge that we say flee from them.

Many of these jinn afflictions can be traced to such people. You live a life according to the laws of Allah and his Prophet (SAW) and you should be fine except for what Allah wills for you as a trial.

wow I can't believe I read all 5 pages of the thread. So unfortunate what the young Lady is passing through. And I must confess, that was quite an interesting revelation for me not with regards to this topic but that of the OP in that thread swtbb.... I hope she is able to pull through all that spiritual fight.

Some interesting observation in the thread:
1. I noticed that Jinn thing possessed mostly Muslim women and most of its effect are felt in illusions or another realm.
2. Both the effects, solutions and perspectives have largely been on Muslims and the Islamic way of cure, that is understandable but the discussion would have been more interesting to learn if it had also discussed non-islamic cases of such possessions unless of course if it is peculiar to Muslims alone.
3. The Jinn thing seem to me mostly like a demonic possession with Islamic explanation and solutions, do you know similar cases that have been solved outside of the confines of Islam, I mean where even the sufferer is not Muslim but still get cured.

Again, I must commend the efforts of the Muslims that gave her a repertoire of solutions which seemed to be working for the young lady, it really was an eye opener for me.... I have heard of cases of such possessions, it can be likened to the case of marine husband, spiritual wife, ogbanje or abiku sort of possession in other religions and tribes and I know they too have their own way of cure..... Exploring them will be very interesting.

Finally, the Jinn thing from what I have learned from that thread has little to do with the reincarnation being discussed here by this OP even though you referred me to a Jinn thread. It still did not answer my earlier questions, do you know of any Jinn children, or have you personally experience or witness the reincarnation phenomenon besides the usual once upon a time kind of gist that usually accompany reincarnation stories. The Jinn thread you referred me to discussed Jinn in another level of operations not similar in anyway to the reincarnation topic here..... Would like to get a response from you. Besides, I noticed I am not able to comment the Jinn thread unless I confess to being a Muslim, come on, is that really necessary, I really would love to join the discussion and ask question as an outside, you know bring another perspective to the discussion, what the lady needs is help, it does not matter if it comes from a non-islamic source or does it?

Interesting. Just my view on some of his questions. It is not ONLY the muslim ladies that used to have this Jinn-trouble. And Islam is not the ONLY entity with solution to Jinn-problem. Naturally man sought solution wherever to his problem. What, How and where he seeks it is what Islam examine because that can lead him to either the right path or the evil path.

I used to go with mum and my brothers but when nothing was happening I started going alone. unfortunately I don't live in Lagos I recently moved to kano state and I don't know where they are doing rukiya here so no1 is doing it for me presently.

You see, I want you to seek some other practical solutions. Every creature has some poisons it shouldnt come in contact with, or else it dies. Likewise I believe, there are some very powerful poisons against Jinns, no matter how powerful they are. There should be something you rub your private part with that wont allow this Jinn to have fun with you again, or else it dies. Something you should be eating to make you a poison to it. Pls enquire. Mind you, this quest might take you beyond the scope of the so called Ahlu Sunnah Alfas. Yes, nobody can claim to have reached the boundary of knowledge. Meaning, you cant know everything.

thanks. in my former state they gave me a mixture of perfume that I should apply on my finger and toe nails to prevent it from entering my body through ths channels. I have to travel back there or look for it here, I'm kinda new here
