Same here...whenever I load #200 I hardly use up to 5mins..I thought its just my location that caused now I know MTN is just a joke..I hated myself for using it as my main sim...

Mine has been on 40k/sec for weeks now (am on zone too) bt dis is wat i do. I use Nok E63 so each time i want to make a call, i go to network/connection settings & change it from 3g to GSM/E (packet data) & make my calls at 4k/8k/12k & sometimes 16k/sec after which i set it back to 3g for my browsings. Maybe u guys can try it.

Well, i wouldn't' know but try changing ur network mode to packet data(Gsm/E) when u wanna make calls.

I couldn't call since morning I just keep looking for their normal tariff! MTN don dull my 4.k calls that I can just keep talking as I like

Honestly i dunno bro. I hven't really used Nok touch before bt go through the settings and see if there's way u can effect the network mode change; if not den i guess u're stuck on 40k/sec till MTN rectifies whatever is causin d hike.

Don't tink it has to do wit d package u're on cuz i've been on Zone since witout migratin 2any of dese their surprise packages yet am stuck on 40k/sec wen am on 3g bt it comes down wen i change to packet data like i said earlier. Maybe its cuz of the festivities around the corner or dey jus deliberately wanna exploit pple like dey always do.

I think its back to normal now. Mine has started displayin the usual 4k/8k/12k
