I never said I don't like the culture Implying my dislike of an entire culture is going wayyy too far, and is unseemly, especially considering my unfamiliarity. Culture is culture. It's natural to favor or disfavor aspects of it when it's one's own, same as when it's not. But yes, the practice is alien to me and I suspect my 'strong' opinion (that surprised you) is largely based on my own culture, and how we view the act.
