Donald Duke governor of Rivers State? The reporter's error is silly. Donald Duke was governor of Cross River State. He wanted to say Peter Otunuya Odili who was Governor of Rivers State. |

This Okupe will destroy Jonathan. Okupe what happened to the cease-fire with Boko Haram? Where are the girls that you promised CNN to bring back since last month? Can't you see the World now know that you are just a sycophant, leading Jonathan and his wife to their grave. Wicked man, just for your pot belly alone - God is watching you and will pay you in your coin. 8 Likes |

I may not be satisfied with GEJ's performance, but OBJ should be the last person passing judgement on another's tenure. OBJ, is one of the most blessed person in Nigeria. Having been given the opportunity to rule this country twice, and yet he couldn't make significant impact on the economy and well being of the populace. OBJ should bow down his head in shame. Cos, we are were we are because he foisted Yaradua and GEJ on us. 5 Likes |

GEJ is thousand times better than OBJ even though he's not the messiah. You can not compare his administration with that of OBJ, during OBJ sitting governor was kidnapped, election was rigged infact there was nothing like opposition party between 1999 and 2016. OBJ would have not tolerated this madness called APC if he still in charge 9 Likes |

smallJagaban:bros do u know the meaning of been politically relevant? If you do you will know that obj relevance is drastically shrinking on a daily basis ,and all this attacks on gej and his govt is to shore up his public image as a democrat or progressive person. He is in the ruling party ,but yet they don't see him or get his approval for things anymore. Even at the grassroot in his home town or state he isn't relevant. We are talking about a president that even refused to complete the main road to his ota farm despite the fact that he used 8 years as president. We are talking about a president that awarded a contract for the construction of ibadan to ilorin and which took 10years to complete. Yet go to lagos ibadan express which started just last year and it is almost 50% completed .have u forgotten how obj leveled odi town? It is obvious nigerians have short memories and that is why politicians always comeback to fool u all the time.atiku, obj, tinubu, fayose,el rufai ,tambuwal etc they are all birds of the same feather . 10 Likes |

focus7: Which solid foundation please. 1. Which industry did Obj revamp ? ( Closed down Ibeto cement to help Dangote, textiles factories were shutting down, no single indigenous car manufacturer was functioning, tyre factories like Dunlop shut down ). 2. What did Obj do with Power or Electricity ? ( After all the huge media propaganda, I was in the university at that time so I can vividly remember. ) 3. What did Obj do with the railways ? ( His biggest gold mine, all embezzled, no single couch ) 4. What kind of elections did Obj conduct during his tenure ? ( Do or die ). Tell me if it is constitutional for an out going leader or President to decide who his successor should be. Hand picking a dying man to replace him as President. African leaders are next to animals in reasoning. And he still had the guts to discuss it with journalists.. 5. What legacy did he leave after office ? ( Seeking for 3Rd tenure, He entrenched God fatherisn in Ananbra politics, Emeka Offor, Andy Uba and co, Tony Anenih ) Obasanjo was the kind of man who turned his errand boys into gods for others to worship. He made these men so wealthy and powerful that other men had to worship them because they had access to Obasanjo himself ). That is why people like OUK who know all his secrets could ridicule him openly without remorse. 6. Obj entrenched corruption. Please with all the noise EFCC and ICPC generated in the world media, which of our thieving former governors or politicians is in prison right now ? He only used EFCC as tool for witch hunting perceived political enemies.. Please counter any claims I raised here.. 10 Likes |

Haha Dr Okupe I love your statement below because you are so right we have not seen such confusion, corruption and division since independence. My question to you must you always react to every statement people make?. “If indeed former President Obasanjo said that, that statement was in error because no government since independence has done close to 50 per cent of what this administration has done in less than four years,” Okupe said 2 Likes |
