gratiaeo: I think we should address the message and not the messenger. If we want to be true to ourselves, Jonathan failed Nigerians. He could have done a lot but he did so little. That to me is "below average". PS. Obasanjo was president while Lagos state was in opposition. But the issue of opposition is not the measurement for performance. 2 Likes |

McDonalds2014:am not a fan of GEJ but i will jus ve to be honest that in my time of living under any civilian goverment GEJ has really done well if we sincerly can take sentiments aside for a minute... OBJ spent 8years as a civilain goverment,he stabilizes the cilvilian rule though but lots of things went wrong despite he has both north south east nd west all behind him.. lets remember that on his laat day in office he marked up our fuel price, signed lots of contarcted for himself nd co....... the other promising regime would have been that of yar'adua but was cut short... jonathan has tried even though we he has his short comings glaring but we should understand that from inception of his goverment he really never had that support from.the north nd if u dont have the support of the north in ur goverment then i tell u that u will have a tough time executing promises smoothly cos if we re to be honest irrespective of where we re from, nigeria was build on the foundation of the north. we might ague dey not very important but look at the logical part of it... the north make up to 73% of any goverment that has eva rule in nigeria.. be it in the era of military or civilain rules.... the point is the north is very important to any goverment in nigeria to succeed. back the to topic... GEJ made so many blunders but this guy is human nd was never ready as a president but when he found himself as our number one , his inexperience came to play, he never really knw how to choose his fight, he made the wrong friends and those who he choose to assoviate with in the north were all light weight. if i were GEJ i will have killed my percieved opponent at arrival, ask me how whe buhari contesyed with him nd lost, and he knows buhari was lved by some section he could ve atleast try to lure him into his cabinet which ever way he can cos every man has his price. if gej really have the sincere interest of this country at heart, he wobt oractice a sectional goverment rather form a coalition and bring in some opponent nd when i say opponent i dont mean hungry political whores or tainted politicians.. by doing the aformention u will weaker the soppose opposition cos truth be told aside buhari nd gej i can see a deserve president anywhere in any polical party right now. declear it openly that if buhari really want to serve this country the way he has wiped for us in tv, he should join d goverment nd the position u offer cos u mustnt be at the helm of affairs to truely serve ur motherland, which if he refuse, by now Gej will have someting to campaign with. brb gat to go.. will cont shortly |

mokset123:the automotive policy I don't wanna argue , but know this if there will be no international key player , its just a waste. I will not buy those cars. It's not about local production. There are some goods that the international players still have to help us for us to get there. South Africa for Instance has got an international player in thier automotive industry I mean BMW. If you are talking about inks son motors. Sorry , it's just a waste.power great. Like I said we don't need universities brother. What's the quality of the graduates teaching in those universities and the graduates that will come from them. That should be the question. It's not quantity but quality. We will still have ASUU strike et all. The schools don't matchto standard. We don't need this for now if you ask me. Those fu des can be channeled into something else.... The govt needs to understand they can't solve educational problems alone. |

Nigeria,a country where the pot keeps calling the kettle black.Baba, you were not better of either. The truth is that this country needs to move forward but I do not see that happening with the kind of attitude that we have as a people;a people driven with sentiments of all forms rather than true commitment to nationalism 1 Like |

Everyone forgets that OBJ took over a military vaporized Nigeria. That's the most challenging time to take over. He spent his first tenure achieving a lot, but his second term was spent fighting Atiku. However, things became better - telecoms, civil servants and the general public could now buy cars and build goodly houses, foreign debt cancellation, increased external reserve, silenced the military perfectly etc OBJ had a lot of wrongs too, but if this nation had continued at that rate, we would have gone far ahead of where we are now. GEJ took over a democratic government, when things were fairer and he has really disappointed those who voted him in. All they can brag about is privatization of the power sector and refurbishment of airports... What nonsense! And yea, I know OBJ was corrupt (in a controlled manner still) but the corruption we have now us so thick and widespread that common stealing of 20 billion naira isn't enough corruption 1 Like |

Dear OBJ, To measure progress, we need a yardstick. What is the yardstick, by which GEJ's performance is measured by ? When you say 'below average', the question is; Average of the totality of what ? Well, for a man who starts education at old age, I believe you ruled Nigeria as an ignorantia but presently retiring in dementia. When you foisted a sick Yaradua, (Ibori's God-son, and a brother of your friend) whom you know has few months to die and who in our hearts never had any impact on Nigeria apart from awarding OML/OPL licenses, you refused to allow Odili to be running mate (In your political algebra, Odilli will be difficult to control), you opted for a calm looking Jonathan that you can control and stay as eternal overlord of Nigeria after your 3rd term bid failed. Nigerian Youth are happy that GEJ has totally pushed out all the militarily backgrounded oligarchs who believe they own Nigeria out of government, with another 4 yrs, we will totally wipe out you and your oligarchs relevance in our body polity and present this country to the next generation. 11 Federal Universities, Railways back on stream, Airports turnaround, power privatization, Agriculture and food independence, Road Constructions, are just a few. If GEJ's performance is below average, we wish you and Yaradua performed up to 'below average', we would not have been in this mess. Thank you Mr. Dementia. 3 Likes 1 Share |

These comments are born out of hatred for GEJ.. Nigerians forget too easily. Saying obj achieved more than gej in his 8yrs of reign clearly shows we are very bad followers. I still remember the 16billion rail project obj commissioned which never came into existence. But now our rail system is beginning to take a good shape kudos to gej administration. No one saw Obj as a weakly when he couldnt tackle the Niger delta militancy which accounted for the loss of many lives down south , not until yar adua came in with the amnesty deal. We all Knw what this country was like during objs regime. Bank robbery was the order of the day , people getting hit by stray bullet on daily basis, police brutality, kidnapping, extra judicial killing and so on. Pls let's give credit to this administration ... Obj is a bastard to say gej performed below average . 2 Likes |

onatisi:please don't mention me ,if you don't understand my post. I never said the govt should give everyone jobs. Where is the enabling environment if you ask, you are the regular Jo that talks about business opportunities. I have a great job but the truth is doing business is as tough as getting a job in nigeria. .where did I ask the govt to do something for me, my post was to the guy that made it clear govt is not about infrastructure. So because there was ASUU strike during obj , there has to be ASUU strike during GEJ....can you see your folly. GEJ need not to compare his tenure to past leaders. How well would it have been if OBj compared himself to abacha or abdusalami .A Successful man don't do that. |

Come May 29th 2015, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will hand over to General Muhammad Buhari. I know the likes of Abati ,Doyin Okupe ,Labaran Maku etc will run away due to their excesses mismanagement . Obasanjo had spoken the bitter truth last year December concerning how desperate GEJ is as regard 2015 election. Obasanjo himself is regretting his evil plot to have chosen GEJ as VP then . |

So the fg was wrong to create more space and oppourtunity for people who yearned and desired univeristy and higher education ?don't u know that by establishing new ones ,more jobs was created?more towns were developed and more road constructed?did u bother to think about the positive multiplier effect of creating universities in a town or place? 1 Like |
