it was west,and today i track amos,and then turn to the west again and track and there it was again it this sat also has most of the amos 5 channels are there i dont know if that was nilesat 201 or something i dont know but its west period

my 1.8m is laying down here,thinking of using it or selling it ,maybe i will use it to track some d**v or nil****just thinking

The intelligent box may not allow you to use it!it only accepts few symbol rates 22000/27500/29500 so no feed haunting,the box will need NIT search to update channel list,that means if you have poor or no satellite signal from bad whether,there won't be any channel list!if you manually input frequency to scan channel,the box will scan channel,but you may not see any channel list,if you are connected to 28east!the box will use NIT to update channel list, since you don't have sky+ subscription, the box is now good for freesat @28east and you may need a bigger antenna for this !since you are not connected to internet and no sky+ subscription some features will not work,you cannot record any programme and fast forward and rewind buttons will not function!the box can only be good for astra free to view UK!

Nilesat is more easy to track even Hotbird!badr is going empty! nilesat is better with add/adtv/orbit showtime.

So i decided to bite the bullet and order a multi-Lnb holder from Ali Express.

(it appears there are even better ones. but i didnt see them until later. maybe they were not stocked before)

today 21 November, i got a text from the post office to come pick it up. (They charged me 500 naira, i still don't understand why sha. i collected receipt though )


No packaging and manual tho. i had to use my number 6 to couple it

quality is not great TBH, but it should serve its purpose.

In all it cost me about 3,800 naira which i think is ok, especially because my attempts at fabricating one was costing me close to 8k!!


Anyone with a picture of Multi-LNB setup using a holder should please post it. i used to see a labelled one sometime ago on NL.......

guys i think we should head to this,for guys who have big or medium dish who cant lay their hands on mbc can try this Eutelsat 21B @ 21.6° East

More stations on Astra 28.2E. Tp is 11675H30001. There are abt 25 stations avaliable. Most of them still on demo broadcast but sunshine and R2TV are up with programs. Hopefully more stations will start up fully before the month runs out. Enjoy.

Guys i discovered recently dat u can easily nail Astra 28.2 E an Amos 5 wit one dish. (I dont know if it has been in vogue ever sinc an am d one laggin bhind). All u nid is d double attachable lnb (nt dual) and dish an u ar good 2go.
