unibadan: She can go ahead. I used only MSC a for the assessment as my BSC transcript didn't get to them on time. |

Fingertips: Although I did add my BSC degree as well, but since MSc was higher WES decided to evaluate just that, to kill time I guess. 1 Like |

subsidy12: He's not criticizing but encouraging people to circumvent laid down procedures. You can decide to cut corners if you want but to come on a public forum and encourage others to go the same lane is not only misleading but morally wrong. If the procedure says do not BORROW, don't come on here and tell people to borrow. Why? The Canadian visa office is just a search engine away from nairaland. They will tighten the nose around Nigerians and make if difficult for people with genuine intent to travel because everybody will be seen as the same. They'd have a justifiable ground to doubt the genuine intention of applicants. Have you ever asked yourself why it is easier for a Polish applicant to get a visa to Canada than it is for a Nigerian? It is because processes are strictly adhered to in Poland (even though there is pervasive poverty in Poland). It is not poverty that makes people circumvent processes, it is simply discipline....The reason for which Nigeria is where it is today. If you ask people to circumvent laid down procedures, what moral justification do you have to blame/castigate Nigerian leaders who steal our resources to stupor? How do we make the country better if laid down procedures are not adhered to? Sometimes (if not all the time) we must stand for what is right and true, not because it will make us appears controversial and unpopular but because it will help drive our country forward no matter how little it appears. Everybody in Nigeria (and Nigerians in diaspora) can't be thieves, most people are successful professionals. We must preach this ALWAYS and not do anything otherwise to make it look like if you don't steal or circumvent processes, you can never be successful. 6 Likes |

solomonwis:All I said was I don't believe banks give out clients' details without their consents. How is that encouraging cutting corners? You read meaning into what you know is rife. |

Let's tone down on our harsh comments. Air ur views calmly. I understand the Rayo and Ferdimako's point of views but it's wrong to generalize about why Nigerians migrate. For instance, I want to migrate for the sole aim of being dual, start a new career, add that western world experience to my working experience then move back to Nigeria cos this is where the real money is. Extremely difficult to get rich there especially as an immigrant, People just live a decent and average life there. I don't have much here, with just over 2years working experience in a telecom company, single & free , I can leave this country with just a day notice and carrying just my backpack. While some well established family men are seeking this PR to move their family out of this country of uncertainty, they want a better life for their children. I know 2 senior managers applying for this fswp with consultants, one comes to work in a LR3 customized interior bearing his name, we wrote IELTS together but I dodged them, lol. So, there's really no particular reason for migrating, Alot of Indian professionals are selling their homes and moving their entire family to Canada. We all have our reasons for moving out of naija. |
