Unfortunately it has, though depends on the destination. This is one of the things you would have to respond to on immigration forms and I don't think lying is an option. Anyway this is just my opinion, there might be other people with more expertise on the subject

I don't think it has jeopardize travel plans for some other countries that don't share immigration information wit UK, so search very well, some South America countries don't and I think a few EU country can still be accessible

My two questions would be, what's the present state of your passport?
And do you intend applying for another passport?
Your answers, would assist further questions or answers.

10 years ban already in place. Your wife should get a lawyer to fight for you but you'll have to pay the lawyer and a good lawyer too. Good luck!

Getting deported is not the end of the World. I have known a lots of people who have been deported to Nigeria from Chicago and some of them have dusted themselves up doing fairly well in Nigeria. Be positive and use your energy to create a bright future for yourself. Good luck to you.

You need to understand what really happened.
You went as student, on student visa.
You stopped being student FROM THAT MOMENT your student visa was automatically cancelled!
You tried false marriage to EU citizen. So adding fraud to your record.
A student visa only allows very limited working BUT yours had ended so you were illegal.
Your record now is not good with anyone that shares information with the UK>

We need to know the full story. I don't understand how you can get deported while having a valid student visa, plus you have not told us how your marriage to an EU citizen was 'busted'.

@claremont, i still got my visa before the marriage and ofcourse i paid for the marriage cos the situation the UK is putting students is very unbearable for those sponsoring themselves. I believe information of the facilitator got to them on what's he is doing so the got my info from him

I assume your passport was marked @ the point of exit. The problem would be, when you apply for another countries visa, you would have to declare your previous travelling history, if you do not honestly declare and found out, that would be a rejection and another ban.
It's a difficult situation.

You can still travel to other countries but you will struggle to get a visa to any Schengen country, US and Canada. You still have to declare your previous immigration record whichever country you are applying to.

My brother after carefully reading your post, I am sorry to say this, but "Your travel credentials have been screwed up" esp to Schengen Zones, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, basically countries which share info with UK embassies, lets put it this way, English Speaking countries.
You are now limited to Asia (except Japan and South Korea), Russia, Kazakstan, Turkmenistan(I doubt if Turkey will issue their Visa to you under such circumstances, because Turkey really considers Visa's and travel document remarks from OECD countries) and African countries.... oh yeah and the middle east (Except Israel) sorry man, you should have followed the rules.
A Visa Cancellelation is the highest screwup you can offer your passport.
Just run your things in Nigeria.

Dude, this is a tough one.

You may have to humbly sit out your 10 years ban. Time flies, you see. But even after 10 years, you may still be refused except of course you have made it by then and your bank account is fat and shapeless, lol.

In the meantime, try and finish your studies locally. Better if you were a postgrad in UK, because at least you will already have your first degree.
If you cannot continue studies, raise a little money and start a business. Barbing saloon and so on, nothing is too small. Just get busy.

Evaluate your time in UK. How can you use it to innovate or improve yourself now? No time for regrets, it will only weigh you down.

Just forget about travelling for now. Get busy in 9ja.

Goodluck.

OP, you've already kissed good bye to so many countries for a decade.

But your ban now is less than ten years from my own arithmetic cheesy

I will help you if you can tell me the whole truth. Sorry, I have no desire to annoy you. I read minds pretty well and so far so good, you're honest.

Which state are you currently? When exactly will your current passport expire?

All this countries would have an intelligence sharing portal, all it takes is inputting your data into the sharing database and all your dirty secrets pops up.

Re: DEPORTED From The UK!! by abbakacici: 7:04am On Dec 11, 2014
i know is unrelated question, but please i need urgent help, I inadvertently washed my jeans with my passport in it yesterday. and now is the passport is a totally waste, i was planing on applying for the emergency travel certificate but form nigerian embassy UK website it seams that is meant for only stole or missing passport.

the reason i apply for it not renewal is that am planing coming back to Nigeria this weekend saturday to be presides, i still have a valid visa so my question are

1) can i apply for emergency travel certificate though my passport is damage not stolen or missing
2) if no should lie and get a police report that my passport is stolen
3)i have a police report, but a break in in our house, that is the police just mail me a letter stating that my case is still on going.

i really need to travel this weekend,
