So prisoners dey use phones for prisons and It's just now we deem it fit to get our acts right? So it's even possible, some Boko Haram members, kidnappers, armed robbers, still run their enterprise in prisons. What a shame. It's a pity our institutions meant to maintain law and order have been rubbished, while those in power keep making irrational and mediocre decisions. We really have a long way to go. |

Does this same rule apply to foreigners in Nigerian jails? How about cases like Wardens smuggling phones to inmate after being tipped? how do you fight that? But wait o, do you mean Nigerian prison inmates where different clothings? Wow! Ankara for life! |

“Don’t forget that I will know if you fail to do this, because we have various agencies in Nigeria that are tracking telephone usages and MTN and other service providers could make available such facilities. The consequence of not doing this, you should already know,” he told the senior prison officialsDoes that mean that the givernment spy and trac our conversations? @Topic: one month is too much, 72hrs should be enough |

Abba Moro became interior Minister without knowing how the prisons operate and did not bother to find out. The tune of the instructions he gave suggests that he only learnt of the international best practices for the very first time. This is unfortunate. I hope he also learnt how to safely organise job recruitment into paramilitary institutions in countries with high unemployment rate. 7 Likes |

This man must have been threatened by one powerfully/politically connected inmate, if not...is he saying that all those suffer inmates, begging money from people had cell phones with them before now? No way. And notice the way he emphasized on "no matte how powerful you are". Abeg let him go and face his troubles with the fellow and spare us all these rants. Between, isn't this the same dog who killed Nigerian youths in the name of immigration jobs. Idiiiiot! 1 Like |
