i ll consider myself a pretty much above average student. but due to unseriousness and high level of ignorance with matters concerning my academics ( especially when i gain admission into sec schl) my iq droped , i started noticing a drop in my grade but i dont care . i didnt even prepare for waec i jst read all my subject maybe a week to the time with less than 3 hrs of study ( all my sub from ss1 ) . my motto was "lets wait and see" i was so full of myself. anyway to cut the long story short, can i opt in for law with the below result in a reputable federal uni like OAU, . thanks in advance for your replies 1 Share

You can get admitted for Law. All you need is 5 credits including Lit in English, English Lang. Govt and 2 other subjects. 1 Like |

For a school cert holder, you write well. However, getting admitted into a University with an F9 in mathematics might be quite difficult. Like you yourself pointed out, you can ace the jamb /pume and still be screened out when doing your registration proper. I'd advice you sit for another WASCE to remedy the situation. You can also try the IJMB route, but to me, it's more like a waste of valuable time. Good luck. 3 Likes |

without Mathematics? Hell No!!! register for WACE OR NECO OR GCE OR NECO GCE . I advise parents to all ow their kids in ss2 to write GCE n when he or she is in ss3 you register for WACE, NECO, GCE, NECO GCE in other to avoid the above result by the op |

I wont advise you to use this result cause a lot of people are seeking admission and the schools will look for any loophole to disqualify you. I think you should rewrite and put in your best effort.All the best  1 Like |

I think you can study law with this result because some people in my class then had d7 /e8 in mathematics and they still got admission to law U.I. Literature in English is the core course, english language too is also core, even some science students that did literature ended up in my class and I was wondering, so just try your luck abeg there's no harm in trying |

OlodoBoy2: I think you have a lot of potential, you can do better than that. The maths and economics result stained an otherwise good result,I think with better preparation,you,ll get good grades in those subjects and even do better in the others. Take your studies serious next time, the above result doesn't reflect your capabilities.you,ll discover mathematics is fun if only you can start your preparations early,don't wait till its few weeks to exam..All the best. |
