My Personal Experience at Mile 2. This happened in October, 2013 on our way frm Airport. I'll b very brief. Went to pick my Cousin who returned frm Italy with 2 of his female friends. I was driving a Pegeout 607, my cousin in front of the Car, d two Girls at the back with a few Luggage at the back seat too as the Boot was already filled up. We were trying to connect Alaba Suru- Orile - Costain to Apapa cos the Traffic along Berger - Sunrise through Trinity was much...this was around 9 - 10pm. Omo, on top Mile 2 bridge, na so one guy notice our Car, knock 4 my cousin side, point to him mouth. My cousin without any Naira asked me to get him somtin, i reached 4 my pockets and gave him (Cousin) #700 to give d guy....the Car was fully wined(i No knw weda na d correct spelling b dat oo, lol) up, i wined down small, throw d #700 to d guy...he left, came back a few seconds again with a Big Stone demanding my cousin to winne down. He bluntly refused, b4 we knw it, the guy hit the stone on my windScreen in an attempt to rub us. As a Lagos boi with 5 years experience living in Ajegunle, na so i use my Motor hit d next car wey dey my front, the Man came down to check d dent on his car. That was when we came down explained what really happened to us. My people, beware of Mile 2 bridge!!! That place is Terrible. 4 Likes |

The journey was ok until we saw a speed boat carrying about 4boys with gun approach us, they are militants, immediately they started beating the passengers in our speedboat, they collected all we had with us including pants , lols. they kidnapped a woman and about 30 to 40mins of beating . |

Mile 2, just like Ojota, ikeja, ketu, oshodi, mile12, boundry etc is very bad and dangerous even to pass in day time, let alone at night. Except you are inside a protected car or bus locked and wt Ac, and the vehicles are moving fast, that is no traffic, if not hide your smart phones.Mile 2 and many other lagos bus stops are not the best place to chat, ping, do bbm, whatsapps, or reply email. You can do that in a more secure place, if it is urgent, then do 'brb' and hide your phone before those street boys see you. There are many fake lastma in mile 2, extorting money from car owners. Infact, those area boys now sew lastma uniform to wear. It is very important that BRF do something about mile2 to oto wharf, berger, infact from Cele down to Liverpool . Police presence should always be there 24/7 4 Likes |

Had this experience around Oshodi close to Bolade bus stop years back. There was traffic and a lady with a male companion were in a private car when suddenly i saw a guy dashed across to the car and actually pulled out her gold earrings from her ears giving her wounds and this happened within seconds. I fear Oshodi today. |

Mine happened right in the bus, d man sitting next to me was corporately dressed that I felt I sat beside a responsible sumbori. Wen d conductor started collectin fare charges after payin mine, d man nxt to me had to pay his obviously. I noticed him tuckin his hands into his pocket in and out, I jes felt he was tryin to get d exact change as d conductor kept screaming "hold ur change o, mi o ni changii ooo" btw mile2 n oshodi I was to allight @ iyanna itire after ballet bustop. I dint for once tink of my fone until I got off d bus. Only for me to reach out to my fone and it was GONE! Then I realised the corporately dressed sumbori moved it. 1 Like |

domido: They have tried this on me at least twice but I have always instinctively hit at the hand and my phones dropped back in the car. The last time was so funny. Having learnt their tricks, I noticed the guy reviewing my car and signalled to his cohort to distract me. At d same time I moved my phones to a compartment just above the pedal areas. The decoy guy came to my side and started speaking gibberish as usual while his counterpart was gripping for the phones he so certainly saw in less than a minute ago. I knew the game well, so I reached out for my jack knife flipped it and as the guy was bringing his head up and out because he actually leaned into my car, I struck and the knife grazed him. He just shouted and disappeared. I wound up and carried on as if nothing happened. These days I drive with my short gun and this Hausa sword that looks like a walking stick. I am a late night crawler. As I type I just left my office to my drinking pad while waiting for traffic to thin out before I head out to my mainland abode. I work around VI and hang out at Oniru most nights. God punish their papa. 6 Likes |

See real J.J.C, you are not supose to showcase expensive gadgets in public places most especially in a bus(as for me bringing out an s5 while in a bus is to showcase it therefore enticing those that are looking for things to steal). I have heard so many cases where passengers were robbed why inside a bus. Hope she learnt her lesson. |
