Many people have been killed in three explosions during Friday prayers at one of the biggest mosques in the Nigerian city of Kano, reports say. The Central Mosque is close to the Emir of Kano's palace and is where the influential Muslim leader usually leads prayers. The Emir, Muhammad Sanusi, is currently in Saudi Arabia. An eyewitness told the BBC he had counted about 200 bodies, but this figure has not been verified. Other reports say some gunmen went on a shooting spree in the northern city after the blasts. This is what I term " arrogance of security". It would have been obvious to the operators of religious activities in the country that BH will be targeting their facilities in other to extract maximum casualties. Question is what security measures were in place to forestall the BH and their moles in the mosque. Security is everyones business not just the government. Allahu akbar In the north, the islamic code(Sharia law) supersedes even the Nigerian constitution. An average northerner is more loyal to sharia law than any other law. There has even been plans to extend it beyond the north according to #Oneguylikethat. What does the north want? Sharia law. What does Bokoharams want?
