Am currently a 2nd year surgery resident in Nigeria and plan to do cardiothoracics if am opportuned to get a residency placement in US. Am almost due for part 1 and I have decided to take it before making arrangements to travel to US for the step 2 cs. The part 1 will give me a post-primaries exam exposure which is necessary to pass the step 2 cs.
Anyway, I wish you Goodluck in your step 1, there are some good websites you can download step 1 preparatory questions. I will also search for the ones I used and can E-mail them if you need them. We will conquer the American health industry.

Step2 ck by August next year
Step1 by December.

I've saved long and hard enough for the duo.

Its awesome.........I was advised by my uncle to take the step 1 but after 2nd mbbs, I had a very serious ailment that made me not to have concrete foundation in my pathology hence I had to wait till now. Goodluck once again. Am not that old sha Am just the same age number as the maximum normal value for bicarbonate.....minus 3 from it, thats the age I graduated.

u can do chemical pathology under Medical Laboratory Science department, Yes u cn but it does not guarantee a license for practise as a med lab scientist
