ProfGday ( m): 11:50am On Oct 25 I wish to take an exam for a school/ professional body overseas. What is the procedure for registering? The British Council administers exams on behalf of over 50 universities, colleges and professional bodies in the UK and elsewhere. We will be happy to conduct your exam for you. Your starting point is to confirm with the examination body that you wish to sit for your exam at the British Council. You then inform our exams officer of your intention. We will contact the exam body and send you the payment details if the body will not be paying us direct. We charge an administrative fee of 17,000 naira and N26,000 per paper for UK and non-UK institutions respectively. The total amount should be paid by Bank draft drawn on any Nigerian bank and issued in favour of ‘British Council’. This should be submitted preferably 3 days before the Exam date. How can my school become a Cambridge registered school? If you would like your school to conduct the Cambridge exams, you will be required to register as an attached centre with the British Council in Nigeria. Please click here for more information.
