Some are sounding like it was good riddance when the oracle left, when the most anxious wait of all is still ahead i.e. after AC when we would be so close we could taste it. An insider companion during that period would be appreciated even though not absolutely needed. Speaking for meself here. And it's not like the info adds to our chances in any way. For me, it just comes in handy when planning my activities.

Whatever rocks your boat mehn.....

Imagine not being selected after all the waiting. I can't imagine that.

Late Q1 2015 seems a long time to come, but with the yuletide occupying December and elections February, March isn't any far from now. We only hope our wait will be worth it in the end.
Wishing us all merry christmas, a prosperous new year and peaceful general elections.

Lol. Bro, you're not directly competing with just any Engineer, you're competing for a space with folks from your state, particularly the Engineers (if you are one)

Imagine not being selected after all the waiting. I can't imagine that.

That's the sad reality of our current predicament with this recruitment. It doesn't make sense that after waiting for close to a year after one has passed the second stage he may end up not getting the offer. I understand now that the political environment of Nigeria has a huge impact on NLNG as an organisation which is quite unfortunate. The company wants to know the outcome of the next general elections before taking certain business decisions of which the recruitment exercise may be affected directly or indirectly.

As a unit let us continue to pray for our dear country Nigeria....so much depends on her unity.

I wrote with 100% certainty (except things change next year though). Even the Oracle can't deny this fact.
In fact, I know a Professor who did a well researched paper using NLNG as case study in Nigerian Quota Systems (closely related to Federal Character).
Anyway, like Scarletdp rightly said, "you have the right to believe whatever convinces you."
I may not be wrong to assume we have about 400 candidates for the next stage. 10 each from 35 states of the Federation and FCT (Total=360) and the remaining 40 from Rivers State.

Allah has took me thru my destiny. Because in next two week i will be in the camp for training.

Now NLNG AC competition is minus one. Wish all NLNG ACiers the best of luck.

I heard from a fairly reliable source that up to 80% of those left in this race wld be recruited. So the chances of anyone here making it to NLNG is about 80% by that info.

I think the reason might be more complex. I have this strong feeling we wld all make it. Come to think of, if NLNG was going to cut the number down, they cld have conducted the AC. I suspect the next stage might just be a simple panel interview followed immediately by medicals and offer. Tell me you don't like this. LoL
