I think this place can compete favorably with obudu resort minus the natural advantage of the mountain which is also a disadvantage as it makes the resort remote. 4 Likes

I will admit that this Governor is trying. Last November we visit our friends poultry factory not far from here, your could spot the progress. This type of man should be fielded for APC! Instead they are pushing party prostitutes, drug barons and warloads. Now I know where they get that clueless nonsense. You only give as much credit as you give yourself 7 Likes |

Quite impressive. I only pass by and admire the huge fountain, I've never thought of taking my time to check in. Ajimobi is truly changing the face of IB city, but he has relaxed in his strict ways against dirtiness, because of 2015 election. Iwo road is returning to its old dirty ways, with motorists parking under the bridge. That governor has also tried in attracting investors and investments to the city, at least I know of five new malls in Ib today. Foodco opened their second mall like 3 months ago. 2 Likes |

django1, that's premier hotel far away in the pix below, I learnt a new and more luxurious hotel is being built on a hill not far from it. Something "wood" is the name. Got details on that?

The last time I was there, the place looked like some old ancient garden. Though it was fun because there could not have been anything better at the time. All they had was a lion and a lioness, monkeys, various trees, ostritch and what again? I think a tortoise, a land crocodile. That's all and one small gutter like river abi na stream. Yes I remember there are dried leaves on the floor. But now that our governor had done well be renovating the place, its a good one for the people of Oyo state, most especially Ibadan. But does that guarantee him a second term like someone said earlier? |

D9ty7: Men!those years it was more of a forest camping than anything else, I remember when we went there from a tutorial class in secondary school, all we had to do for fun was roast yam inside the woods and sing. Its a totally different place now. |
