Godfullsam: Are you making this statement from an informed position or are you following the common tradition of most NLanders in making baseless allegations? Why exactly is $252.25m too small for NITEL? |

If you read the article, you will see that what the investors are about is actually turning NITEL properties into real-estate business. The rest 20% is about communication. Don't expect any landlines soon or even at all. As a business man I wld say Mr Ayeni is a good investor. 2 Likes |

chamboy: Are you trolling or what? How is NITEL a core goverment responsibilty? So you and your ilk want government to be saddled with unnecessary responsibities so that the that the history of mismanagement and wastage that has plagued this nation from the beginning continues? Any forward thinking person will agree that a leaner government is better than one bloated with activities that the private sector can handle efficiently. If this is truly the position of Buhari then many people will flee from him and his party since such a stance can only move the country back to the stone age era. All nations that we consider leading in today's world have all embraced privatization; this is the way to go. |
