Hello people. Landed san fracisco 12pm US time. My story is long but I will start from somewhere. I'm actually going to Maryland for childbirth but hubby has a conference in San Francisco so we decided to go together. Flew Emirates and it was wonderful. We booked economy but Hubby and I used our Skyward Miles to upgrade to business class so we flew Business class at no extra cost and the experience is better imagined. If I start narrating the experience today, I won't finish. Hubby also got an emirate coupon to be cheffuur driven from dubai to an hotel for the layover so we were able to sleep and take our baths, also had breakfast. They also picked us back frm the hotel to the airport. Landed at SF and our flight was the only one that arrived at the airport. Hubby was only asked why he was in the us, he mentioned the conference and that was all. Nobody even ask me anytin. They took our fingerprints and stamped us in. shikena.. I was shocked. We got to the custom, they took our custom card and the man asked about my job. I told him and he said welcome to san Francisco.we were also cheffuer driven from the airport to our hotel we booked coutesy of emirates. Chilling in SF now till after the conference then straight to MD. All glory to God. because I prayed and prayed for Favour and he answered. My heart was beating when we got to the airport but God had already prepared the way for us. 23 Likes |

mamacajah: Payment is thru money order , they won't take cash. Try to visit the Nigerian consulate Atlanta website and follow instructions on how to apply, it's an online application |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by fue1: 10:06am On Dec 04, 2014 |
@ everyone. Hello! After reading some of the earlier posts, I agree with Yefa. I am currently at richmond Houston using DR Z. And Oakbend medical center and i must say the service is very good. I started by getting the contact of Dr Z and asking for a comprehensive breakdown of the process before applying for my visa. This was what i was given Doctors requirement: Initial visit $190 Lab $270 Vaginal delivery $2200 Hospital fee (oakbend) Hospital charge $2300 Pediatrician $320 Other fees Anesthesia for epidural in labour $850 Estimated COST for vaginal delivery $6130 And C/S can be $6630. There is also a $150 scan fee. This is the exact price i told the VO, the US immigration officers upon arrival and the value I just paid on 02/Dec/2014. For me this place offers a great price plus Dr Z and his team were very supportive and quite professional. The VO most people come in contact with, just want to see your financial capability to handle the delivery bill and accommodation requirements plus they will ask you straight forward questions and would like HONEST straight forward answers because they can detect inconsistencies. |

chloe7: Dont mind me o. I just dont like when people get unfair outcomes. We keep preaching honesty but if they dont respect honesty people wont listen again. In same vein, we cant over-criticise them because they see so many fake applications from oluwole,Lagos and they hear lots of award-winning lies that is enough to make them paranoid and confused as to who is real. 2 Likes |

Shayo5: I am thinking of using Dr Dennis Abass ( you can google him)someone mentioned him on this forum some time ago, according to the person his bill is $2,400 ,which includes some lab texts. Hospital bill is $3,000 (i think). I tried calling Dr Abass's office to book an appointment and get an email quote from them, but they refused, that i can only get an appointment and discuss bills in person. I allso emailed a couple of other doctors in Dallas area without any responce. I would advice you get in touch via email with any of the Houston doctors mentioned on this thread that are willing to accept email or phone booking and print out your correspondence with them ( which should include a letter saying they would accept you and statting their bills),so that you have something to show the VO and also to show at POE. I hope this helps. 1 Like |

Tvegas:my own interview was even the worse despite all the documents I suffered to get they didn't check anything and I still got refused I want to try again but i'm afraid, exactly we can't over criticise because there are dishonest people and in the same vein they want to hear small lies because with this attitude of theirs towards the honest ones it will be hard for people to tell the true |

@supamom There is a hotel inside the Dubai airport terminal - you can book a room and catch some hours of sleep without having to go through Dubai immigration. This is what I did when I was going to the US via Dubai 2 years ago. supamom: |
