soloqy: But we have to understand it is his choice and his Twitter handle, and he has a right to use it as he deems fit. Nigerians had no right, whatsoever, to jump in on his mentions and insult him at first, regardless of his agenda. Two years ago, Uti called on all Nigerians to vote Keagan, not because of his personality, but because "SA don host this thing for 7 years now and no victory. Haba nau!" Nobody chided him over it, yet they're actually the same thing - Ignoring the personalities of the housemates and voting based on country sentiments, just like Arthur is calling on East Africans to vote Idris based on regional sentiments. Nigerians had no right to come at him like that, and that's the truth. 4 Likes |

spade:"some Nigerians". I think it's because of the way he generalised, that's why he was attacked, if he had said "some Nigerians", instead of saying "Nigerians", he would not have been attacked liked that, I think... |
Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by spade: 1:31pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
jjii: Yeah, I saw it. And Esther would do well to give them the middle finger because no East African country voted her to begin with, so she owes them fuckall. 1 Like |

spade: At first, it was not only Nigerians that challenged him on the regional thing. Even Team Goitse Bots that have been voting Tayo but he then turned it into only Nigerians and insulted Nigeria. When Frankie and Esther gave their support to Tayo, East Africans and SADC people went in hard on them calling them all sorts of things and sell outs. They didnt generalise or pick a particular country to call out. |

Doesn't mean one should neglect things just because you can't put them to use RIGHT NOW. You save some stuff for when the opportunity presents itself, IN THE FUTURE. Wether Tayo wins or not, this show is fvcked already. Unless the organisers come up with a solution to this regional thing, I dont think there's any future for the show. A situation where the housemates flaunt regionalism in the faces of their disadvantaged fellow housemates is totally unacceptable. We need BBN or BB West Africa! 3 Likes |

Ksslib:'He' is the right pronoun. Some people wish they could change their gender, well, I also wish I could go to the moon; but we know my chances of going to the moon are rather slim. There is nothing wrong with wishing as long as I can tell the difference between 'wishing' and 'being'. Delusion is one of the signs of many mental disorders and it should not be encouraged. People who are schizophrenic cannot tell the difference between fantasy and reality, and I think our thread mate lives in fantasy land most of the time. My contribution to his mental wellbeing is to never encourage it. Delusion should never be encouraged. It is detrimental to anyone's mental health. 3 Likes |
