Chiamaka01: *in Chris Brown's voice* I didn't wanna go there Anyway, "A gentle answer defuses anger while a sharp tongue kindles a temper fire" Forget the issue on ground, but sometimes, diplomacy is synonymous to wisdom. I've seen that re-inforced over and over again. And stop saying you aren't capable of possessing a virtue. We might be products of our environments or have fixed temperamental traits biologically. It never stops us from learning and becoming what God expects us to be. Will you marry me? |

babysmart: Aunty mi the Barrister, temper justice with mercy now. I haven't said very much about feminism on this thread. What fueled your presumption? Btw, do you know the minds of all the "so-called feminists". How can you be so sure that's not what they want to do? I haven't made any statements here yet. I'm still asking questions. |

babysmart:Don't mind the dude jawe, only God knows why men don't think like me. 50:50 is what men should be thinking of exploiting now. It gives men the chance to save their money while doing some over hyped home chores, out of which they can hire a temporary house help till the kids mature enough. I still wonder why men still think its their job to provide for a dull, passive element. Mthcheew |

Timmytimmy: @bolded, that's the case, and no offence, but you're not God, so you don't know what he wants me to be. No, i won't. |

babysmart: ALL THE ABLE AUNTY! !!! Na you oh. All this accusations you're dispensing as if you're father Christmas. Diariz God oh I haven't accused Chimmamnda of anything on this thread yet. Anyway, that our conversation was about her person and not really about feminism. You can't change the fact that I don't really care much for her. I'm prejudiced and I'm admitting it |
Re: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by Nobody: 5:37pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
babysmart: Seems like i'm not the only one who observed this. The bible says,'God's strength is made perfect in our weakness'. It seems like their strength is made perfect in subjugation of women. |

Chiamaka01: I like it when you go all feisty and aggressive. I am definitely not God and I am only too glad to agree with this your poignant and important observation but do you think God wants us handling things with force everytime? Btw, maybe I have a fairly good idea of what God wants. Maybe Marry me na |

But when you see a female truly in love, she's constantly ruled by her emotions which makes her succumb to the will of her man Feel free to correct me. |
Re: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by Timmytimmy: 6:02pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
babysmart: Are you kidding me? Who is "they"? When I have important things to do, it's to brag about how I subdue my wife? Are you serious? Who are the married men you know? See why I said you unmarried women blow this thing out of proportion? Lemme even say something self. The reason why I don't like some feminism crusaders is this thing you're doing; you're goading and encouraging yourself with so much generalisation of the men folk that there will no longer be a middle ground for what you're fighting for. The danger isn't very conspicuous; your feminism simply slips unnoticed into sexism. That's one of the psychological issues I talked about. You'll build a sub-conscious need to compete with men to prove your point. I know many a lady who only want to be successful to put men in their places. The biggest problem is that they will not admit it to save their lives; second psychological problem. You girls should chant on your war songs but please tread carefully. |

dejii01: Humans are either majorly thinkers or feelers. It just so happens that most thinkers are males and most feelers are females. There are some female thinkers and some male feelers. I'm a thinker. |

Re: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by Timmytimmy: 6:21pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
Chiamaka01: Why not be a thinker and feeler? Or you so much don't want to be seen as a feeler that the thought of it appalls you? Is this how you would behave when we get married? |
