Re: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by Timmytimmy: 6:32pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
Chiamaka01: Nah. I'm not a traditionalist as such. My argument is for a middle ground. Our African culture too has a lot of barbaric and dehumanising practices. Feminism however, has more dangerous pits than our culture. The countries that have it in full swing have the highest rates of divorce but then a very large number of our young women are swallowing what they hear without thinking about why our fathers and mothers did it like this or like that. They are practicing an illegitimate revolution. I am one of the men who still believes my wife should cook 80 percent of the time depending on how free she is. I've been called old fashioned and a lot of names but I don't really care. My mum did it and if only you knew her; she is a choleric person,a natural leader but she is equally a wise woman. I believe in feeling (love) and thinking (logic). Is that too much to ask? |
Re: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by dejii01(m): 6:33pm On Dec 04, 2014 |
Chiamaka01: So, you're saying that the majority of females are ruled by their emotions and will succumb to their man when in love Society 1 - 0 Feminists I don't disprove that you're a thinker, but I doubt you've loved someone so much that it got to the obsession stage. At that stage, you would become a feeler, trust me, I've seen this happen a lot. Estrogen is a really powerful hormone. |

Misogynist2014: Oh....my bad sir. That's the first time I've been blinded to such apt use of literary device. It's probably the tense atmosphere around me. These girls are befuddling my reasoning. I like your moniker, it's part of the irony I presume. |

dejii01:You have actually hit the nail at the centre of its circumference. You see, it is when a woman actually start to battle with her natural feminine instinct(estrogen) which necessitates that she submits to testosterone, that's when she becomes a bïtch! Many a times, the bïtchiness is caused by external influence (s). 1 Like |
