Read somewhere that Muhd Buhari has been endorsed by APC delegates to fly her flag in Katsina State. Don't know ow true it's but I think it will be better for him because he has no chance with Atiku and Rochas.

It's very true. I also have confirmed the reports. Buhari will be contesting for 2015 katsina state Gubernatorial elections grin.

Oyo APC guber congress: Ajimobi defeats Lam Adesina’s son to emerge winner


All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State Thursday held its governorship congress with the incumbent governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, emerging winner.

At the congress midwifed by the Hon. Lumumba Adeh-led five-man electoral committee, Ajimobi  polled 4,662 votes to defeat his contender, Dr. Ayobami Wasiu Adesina, scion of former governor of the state, Late Alhaji Lamidi Adesina, who polled 22 votes. Ninety votes were declared invalid.

The result was declared at 7.40 p.m.

The third aspirant, Alhaji Adebayo Shittu, who was on Monday cleared in Lagos to contest along with the two others, however pulled out on Wednesday when he filed a suit at the Federal High Court, Ibadan asking the court to declare the congress invalid and illegal in view of the manner the delegates were selected.

El-Rufai, Ashiru in early lead
Report from Kaduna says a former Minister of the
Federal Capital Territory, FCT, is in early lead followed
closely by Mohammed Ashiru. Accreditation of
delegates began at about 10am while voting
commenced at 1.28 pm. Our correspondent in Kaduna
reports that while some have judged the exercise free
and fair, others say it is characterised by financial
inducement.

10 aspirants leave venue midway into voting
Almost all the governorship aspirants at the ongoing
APC primaries in Lagos have left the venue of the
exercise. Akinwunmi Ambode, Ganiyu Solomon, and
Leke Pitan are the only ones out of the 13 aspirants left
at Onikan Stadium as at 6p.m. It is unclear why the
aspirants left midway into the exercise. Earlier, Peter
Obadan, chairman the Election Committee, had
appealed to the aspirants to monitor the exercise and
channel any grievance to the committee. Tokunbo
Wahab, the youngest aspirant in the race, left about 30
minutes ago. Femi Hamzat left two hours ago.
Adeyemi Ikuforiji, who was the first among the
aspirants to arrive the venue at about 9 a.m., and left
soon soon after delegates began voting by1p.m. As at 6
p.m., delegates from eight out of the 20 local
government areas of the state has cast their votes.

Counting have started in Sokoto. The only thing that
one can here from the counting desk is Aminu,
Aminu, Aminu Waziri, Aminu, Aminu, Aminu
Tambuwal, Aminu, Aminu, Aminu and Aminu.
