I knew there was no way Umana Okon Umana can ever clinch the APC ticket unless Udoedeghe or Sam Ewang have an understanding not to contest with him

He joined APC way too late when delegates elections were held in April......people like Udoedeghe would have simply put their loyalists in all the available post state-wide

Well we know what happened but don't talk about it.
Aisha Jummai won because she was in PDP then while Nyame was with the ACN following his falling out with Danbaba Suntai. Suntai helped and even won the election for his party woman. This time around her seat at the Senate will be taken over by Nyame and the governorship won by Darius Dickson Ishaku of the PDP. Nothing for Aisha.

They didn't use delegates o, umana came with thugs firing gunshot, everyone ran out of the stadium. Umana insisted that supporters should line up in front of their candidate, thats how he won.

Taraba is traditionally a PDP state.Like Plateau state,who becomes the governor is determined by religion in which case Taraba people will always vote for a christian,whether he is a slowpoke is non of their business.

Secondly,Danjuma will play a major role in who becomes Taraba governor.

For your information Etiaba,former governor of Anambra state is Nigeria's first female governor.If you are in doubt,ask google.

Dame Virgy Etiaba isn't the 1st female Governor of Nigeria.
The court ruled that Gov. Peter Obi wasn't validly impeached and as such had remained Governor while he sought succour in the court. Obi promptly returned to Government house to resume his duties, while all actions taken by Virgy Etiaba became null and void since she was infact just a deputy Governor occupying the Governor's office.

As such, the title of 1st female Governor (either by election or elevation) is still up for grabs.
