Blame game. It is nature, not society. Sometimes, I get infuriated when ugly women like you blame the society. Is society a man? It is both male and female dude. Do you want Nig to be like USA? Is that what you tag as lenient society? Where singles and single parents litter the streets? Smh. embarassed
Yeah that's the way forward after all we all want to be like then, including you,,,,

Seriously, harsh economy as experienced by guys in naija is the bane behind lack of marriages. So many young men of marriageable age cant do so due to harsh economy. Many factors sha contribute to it of which i cant exercise out time now to detail on them. Men dey, but those ready financially to marry be d wahala.

Seriously, do you know some marriages come with blessings? Seriously! Forget issue of money what is needed is compatability and blessing of God.

Am not saying money is not needed of course u need it! If not how person go feed, clothe and rent house. But you musnt do it high, you know.wedding can be very simple

There are many couples that had nothing but its like the right woman, marrying for the right reason and sincerity helps a lot

I know of a number of couple that had nothinh , if you see them today..................hmmm

yea.. you can do sugar dad runs...but na them still dey find a man of their own now. I know say some guys without proper pay no say them ladies go free them once a rich fella shows up or go dey go kpansh for cash ...so how u wan pop d question? To see a girl wey go support ur mission no easy...all go dey claim engaged...who come dey single? I be wan try see who go tag with me make we run stuff..no show. Na to carry my cross alone...maybe get one kid...don't ask me how. Whether my dicck shrink or muscles tear and wear mean nothing compared with when u marry who no wan see reality. seeing it only aging don show..may hav placed d poor guys on another level...u know younger chicks dey spring up every day. So issues dey!

Well news flash, some of una no dey serious. Una go date person for good how many years, leave am for another person wey na just meet how many weeks. If men dey serious, ready to marry and not spend all their youth sleeping around till thy kingdom come, you no go see ladies dey jump up and down with married men. Una no dey focused. As young ladies between 18-20 something dey spend their youthful years jumping around, na so una wey be men around that age dey do too. abi you think say guys between 18-20 something dey reason marriage? NO. Una no serious so ladies no go dey serious. Na until when una reach 40 before una go remember marriage. you cant blame the ladies. Only very few relationships lead to marriage.

You don't need to condem her; base on her own opinion. Like one of my friend do says "everybody have reason; and all reasons are important" you might view it from your own angle, to her that's what she believe, pleace don't crusify her. Thanks

yeah...men struggle to make bricks without straw. Economy, expectations and family background don't support to marry early. some hausa men marry early and dump early also. Almajiri na person child. some Yoruba folks get help from family members. For Ibo pple, u no hold be say nothing for early marriage as u dey huzzle to help lift ur younger siblings wey parents gather without any written agreement. I dont agree to that. Very wrong ideology and that's why poverty can't be eradicated in the society. Why do we still have poor couples with poor children today if that's the case?

Men get d BS too...but una own aplenty. But be productive, open leg less and be hopeful. We are expected to have cash, houses and cars to attract some reasonable ladies. However, as most chicks only sit and choose, they miss out as age is ever dwindling. They are left with marry anyhow guys and suffer or continue to wait till when? One party wey I go the other day, them fix one chick for a guy for consideration. She flew in to Lagos from Abuja. Not easy on both sides but una own aplenty with BS. We wey must build a huz etc faa?

Where u c money to cater for urself? Instead of dabbling into marriage without a real woman wey like reality check...na to bone marriage and wife oh.

You are right about the expectations from females but if una dey encourage them to start from scratch with you by you remaining faithful and sticking to your girl/wife when the going gets good, e for better. Many discouraging stories like this dey. How many of una dey do am? Una no dey encourage them.

Anyways, both males and females need to work on themselves.

But your time is fast ticking unlike mine/men who can still do that at the due time. You can combine marriage and career together...no biggy. And me, some yrs are still left b4 i clock 30 (not like that makes me not due for marriage).
