The longer this goes on, the more I remember Sunderland. Is it just me or does Costa look really lethargic?

I am afraid it looks like we are repeating the same thing we did against Sundderland. The wide men are playing inside and allowing Newcastle to line up 6 men at the back. Width is arriving late from Ivanovic and Azpi and it seems our play is generally helping Newcastle to be organized.

performance is linked to tactics. the matches you play via parking the van are matches you take seriously. you think parking the bus is an easy way of playing? it drains the players - every one of them is concentrating, no margin for error, etc.
