I have a very high sex drive, I can have multiple orga.sms within seconds of eachother but I easily get bruised and sore If care is not taken. Sometimes I get cuts on the scars(no scars per se, but where I have been cut), it gets painful especially when I need to wee. Well, there is a lot of evidence that male circumcision is good for the health....it prevents pen""e cancer, it also reduces the chances of the newborn getting Urinary tract infection, it may even (with a condom!) reduce men's risk of getting HIV, and it is a good vaccine against a rather nasty condition called phimosis. It also makes it easier to keep the male organ clean.

And then there are the complications that require surgery.....

At the end of the day, there are pros and cons to it but it seems the massive influence of western opinions which preach discrimination against females at the expense of males, has taking a grip on the general attitude towards female circumcision.
I'm having a hard time referring to it as Female Genital Mutilation since it's the same cutting and clipping that goes on in males, yet that one isn't called Male Genital Mutilation.

It is not the same cutting and clipping. Having the clitoris lopped off is the equivalent of chopping off the glans on the male organ. Can he function without it? Certainly but does it provide any reasonable benefit? Doubtful. FGM/Female circumcision may not be harmful but neither is not doing it all with the added benefit of not introducing any complications to the woman. So it boils down to small discomfort (at the very very least) post FGM versus no bother. I know which I'd pick every time.

Sorry but your argument is flawed, and your deductions are dangerous and misleading.
Males and females are anatomically different. Circumcision may be deemed unnecessary and dangerous to both males and females but there are proven benefits to males ie HIV transmission reduction and no proven health benefits to the female though the risks are worse to the female.

In extreme cases, The female is at risk of obstructed labour, vesico-vaginal fistula, pelvic floor problems etc which are long term and dangerous complications that lead to a reduced to a poor quality of life and even death.
Female circumcision is rightly called Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is unnecessary and dangerous and that is a well documented fact.

In Europe male circumcision is relatively rare unless for medical reasons. In the USA it is quite common, probably more than 50%. I dont really know about middle east and asian cultures.

As for the barbaric and savage practice of female genital mutilation which damages the child for life I thank God that in all developed countries is is illegal and considered the worst form of child abuse. the risks attached to female circumcision is the same as that of male circumcision. how can you tell that it's worse for the women? if it's worse for the women, does that necessarily make it ok for the men? should both men & women not get protection from archaic traditional practises?
