I rather see an all-out war between Fulani herdsmen and members of the public even here in the South judging from the generally believed notion that the Fulanis value their cow more than human lives. This is indeed a dangerous strategy being employed by the insurgents. It can ignite serious tension and fracas in the country, overstretching capacity of law enforcement agents thereby giving the insurgents ample opportunity to gain ground more rapidly.
Revealing this strategy to members of the public could actually cause more harm than good.
