soroptimist:GOS will not be given Senate ticket I am very hopeful of that. He has been in NASS for 12 years(4years Rep and 8years Senate) he should learn how not be be a sit tight. This was the problem of Mamora, they just want to remain there like its their birthright. Two terms is enough for him, let someone else go. I still prefer Hamzat for senate, I just love that guy. If he isn't going, he should be considered for commissioner slot(again) and either Ajiboso or Seriki be sponsored to Senate. 1 Like |

CFCfan:Na wa for you o, how can a Rep be bigger than a commissioner? If you know the powers that a commissioner wield and the resources at his/her disposal you won't be saying this-especially A-list Commissioner in A-state like Lagos. Even a Senator(Tokunbo Afikuyomi) was made a commissioner in 2007 after serving 2 terms in the Senate. Bro as commissioner she will make more impact than a Rep. 1 Like |

barcanista: Nothing about their performance on their core responsibility- make laws I guess you are satisfied with them receiving mega millions from us each month for doing absolutely NOTHING while the real workers aka civil servants of the same governments in Nigeria earn a minimum wage of N18,000 Yet some state governors, including Fashola don't even pay the minimum wage under the guise of 'empowerment' and even OWE many months in arrears Is this how it is in the UK, USA etc such that their societies are so developed to the extent that we are fasting & praying to get their visa and run into voluntary second slavery there? For how much longer shall we remain clueless MUMUS 2 Likes 2 Shares |

She won't even be considered for top 10 possible VP. How many votes can she bring? Who and who know her outside Lagos? Even we need someone with wider reach and acceptability my dear. Abike Dabiri is a woman I admire, but she hasn't got to that stage yet(my own opinion) Obiagelli: 4 Likes |

berem:she left NTA in 2003. That is over 11 years ago, how many people of voting age even know Abike outside those in Lagos? How many of those that "followed" her during her NTA days will vote her? What is the population of those that followed her newsline story as at then and now? Ben Bruce was nta's DG and later Silverbird's Chief yet he wasn't even considered for Bayelsa Guber in 2012. electoral popularity is not the same as journalistic celebrity, otherwise, entertainers will be controlling government A Chauvinist? Respected Amazon, Especially her fight for Nigeria's in foreign detention and diaspora at large. A woman to emulate. I am of the PDP, but obviously will say that she contributed more than the PDP in the 4th to 6th Assembly. 1 Like |
