crudedude:You can't 1-+3 is the same as 1(-1*+1)+3 Zero plus any number is the number itself. Following BODMAS and doing addition first, it becomes -0+3 which can be turn around as +3-0 which is the same as 3+0 |

icebeatz:icebeatz see your life? [1-(2-2)+3] this is pure bodmas, the negative sign in front of the bracket doesn't change anytin inside it, plus the brackets are solved first, the answer is 4.. Go ask a prof.. Its meant to be: 2-[1-(2-2)+3]. 2-[1-(0)+3]= 2-[1-+3]= 2-[-2]=4 brb 1 Like |

loadux: You were doing great until 2 - [1-0+3]. In BODMAS, u solve + before -. So 0+3 = 3 Therefore it's 2 - (1-3) Which is 2 - (-2) Which is 2+2 ANSWER is a bloody 4. |

crudedude: I got 4 as well. When there is no multiplication how can he open the bracket? If that is so then he should have opened it from the beginning. He can't just be selective. And here i was thinking that he studied maths. 1 Like |

Toeyean1507: You cannot just rearrange like that. Every number takes the sign before it, so you cannot move the number and leave the sign for another number. |
