The average Nigerians believe that eating of beans make you taller.my friend henry who is a short man by nature have been eating beans day and night to see if he can get taller....I have been trying to convince him to stop that is doesn't really work yet he still refuse

Back then in secondary school if u dare say u ate beans........definitely u will be the suspect if something happens.Actually my best.

But it is d truth na, we are taller than our parents today because of the beans we were more or less force-fed as kids.

That's somewhat true. Proteins are responsible for human growth and repair. Beans is protenious and is more effective for growth when consumed as a teenager compared to as an adult because the average human stops growing at about 21 - 25 years old.
