Although the casspir was and still is one of the best mraps in the world, it will be nice to have some newer technology in SANDF mechanized infantry brigades.but good thing is that mraps are one thing SA never as to worry about, there are a sh;t load of the all over the place.
Mechanised infantry will be taking delivery of the Badger IFV.

Casspirs and Mambas are for the Motorised infantry.

There are many vehicles capable of replacing them.

Note that there's a project to replace them, but will likely follow behind the one to purchase new trucks.

exactly, ghadaffi was branded a 'terrorist' for what?,osama bin laden killed thousands of americans like chrismas turkey, yet he ran rampant for nearly 10 years,no war drones entered into afghanistan to blitz it into the stone ages.why ghadaffi then?..i strongly oppose democracy as we practise it in africa, yes the people can chose who they like, but let their be limits to the craze for power!
I think that the problem we have is that their are to little honest people out there that put their people before him/her self, and this is a problem that nothing can fix, not democracy , not communism and not dictatorship, their will always be power crazed people no matter in which way the country is governed. Its a problem with no solution really.

perhaps.but there would be limits if the knots are pegged with iron clips.a country like china have been relatively peaceful because there are strict measures in place

Hahahah most probably get burned rather than a tan always forget the sunscreen , dont blacks get tanned too i mean look at those Southern Suddan folks they are almost charcoal colour by spending so much time in the desert? hahha thought you ment sunlight, but in SA those who have electricity have it 24/7(or the last few days 23/7) doesnt matter where you live. We use the word robot for traffic lights, really messes with the tourists heads as they think we mean real robots.

BTW what english does Nigeria use, british or American, the text box keeps on showing me that my spelling is incorrect when i use british english words like colour vs color.

Oga, you do not have 14 Gripen pilots, you only got 8.

"Besides are you seriously proud you only managed to train 14 pilots for 26 planes after 15 years?".

Is this something to be proud of undecided undecided

How low can you sink?

If you could read properly, you would have noticed I did not make any claim about praying for you.

Go back, read properly. Problem is, you make too many fraudulent claims, it's almost impossible to keep tabs.

Patches 689, SAAF only has 8 pilots for 26 Gripens. This is the fact.

The "fact" you dont have a shred of evidence for?

Nigeria only has 2 pilots, this is indisputable fact

8 pilots
26 Gripens
15 years
18, 000 hours flown almost entirely by your presidential air fleet.

Bravo.

HAHAHAH we once had 8 pilots a long long time ago, until we trained some more. I mean we have 14gripen and 54 hawk pilots, all of which can easliy be converted to a gripen pilot in a matter of weeks, maybe even days if the need arises.

You see how you're back to telling lies angry

As at November the U.S has carried out more than 270 airstrikes on ISIL positions in kobani.

BEIRUT (AP) — More than two months into its assault on Kobani, the Islamic State group is still pouring fighters and resources into trying to capture the besieged Syrian Kurdish town, but the drive has been blunted.

Helped by more than 270 airstrikes from a U.S.
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/fe772268a5fd4145a5ef006e55961c09/islamic-state-groups-drive-kobani-blunted

ISIS fighters are not 15 meters away from pershmerga forces, as the forces only joined in the conflict. ISIL fighters are definitely not 15meters away from YPG fighters.

ISIL fighters are still dug in, in kobani despite having no form whatsoever of air support, and in turn taken over 270 U.S air strikes.

This is a military failure, no matter how anybody wants to spin this. It has show, if you don't have the resources the U.S has, you have no business deploying Fighter jets for CAS. It would be a catastrophic failure for that nation.

Kobani proves once and for all, fighter jets have no place in CAS.

270+ U.S airstrikes, and also coalition patners strikes.
Over 2 months
A single town on the border,
ISIL still dug in.

Yet, you claim it to be a success for Fighter jets shocked shocked

Clown.

OK.

so lets get this straight

No Bombing = ISIS winning, about to capture the town

Bombing = stalemate, Kurds are able to hold the town

Bombing stopped ISIS dead in its tracks, indisputable fact.

Bombing will not push ISIS back, that job falls on the Kurds.

If you think bombing is some magical thing that makes armies retreat and wins battles so the infantry can do nothing, you are a clown

It has NO stealth-like design, and the radar is NOT solid state modern type, it's old. Deal with it, SAS Drakensberg is old, go see what Algeria just purchased for the same purpose, and you will angrily sink your own Drakensberg in anger !

SAS Drakensberg is a replenishment ship it doesnt need to be stealthy and no Algeria does not have a stealthy replenishment ship, but our valours are of stealth design, know go back to your Village you tw@t!

Stealth-like, I said, don't quote me wrongly, shape is not the only way of stealth, the paint, the ECM defences, the navionics that reduce detection to protect the ship from enemy frigates.

Check out Algeria's new logistic ship ! The Drakensberg is an old ship for generations past !

Well done mate! you proved it has a HMD and dus you are in agreement that a HMD is different to a HMSD/HMS,unfortunately your same source state that it is only a 3rd Gen Aircraft.

But iam still proud of you that you provided a good credible source.

NN Thunder is older than the SAS Drakensberg.

NN Aradu is older than the Drankensberg.

The new patrol ship similar to Thunder you received from the USA, is older than Drankensberg?

The missiles on Aradu aree older than her.
