This is not smartness from an objective perspective.... I learnt that some were not even working at all, cos they had memorized the answers.

Knowing fully well that a material will be used in the examination, A buys it and memorizes the answers, gets to the examination hall and starts shading without working---- This is what Nigerians are celebrating as SMARTNESS

I will like you to see this software. It has hundreds of quantitative questns alone...you need to study for months to be familiar wt these questions....I saw this software and it was a pool of questions mounting

Pls lets ignore @ceechedah and move forward, good luck to d petitioning guys.. like I said earlier this software was used for (in mail they included d website were we could find d practise questions) this year, there's a reason cinfores created d software and NUC knew about it before contracting d job to cinfores not dragnet or another company. So goodluck guys

Those of you writing petition. Please ensure you also send your full name, exam no and seat no so that Prof. Okojie will add 20 marks to your scores...

And also don't forget to tell them that some smart guys used the software last year and last two years and had high scores.. While this year the smarter ones decided to grab the whole score.. I guess PRESSID knew some guys will get evrythng that was why dey decided to set 96 questions for the engineers..

Naija ppl like to underate ppl successes. I am telling u 100% sure that some ppl scored 70sth and 80sth and maybe 90sth witout brainfriend. I scored 87 and although i saw some questn i knw b4 it was because I saw dem in oda materials. Brainfriend questions were sourced from the internet i strongly believe.

We should now turn to prayer warrior because of a politician? Kano state govt sponsored close 2 1000 students to abroad for their masters, and we are here praying for mediocrity. If all militants can be sponsored abroad (without any examination.. Lols), is this (300+ scholarship) the best our president can offer?

Okay I have read to some of the posts on here and I must confess that I am not happy with the kind of tantrums being thrown at scholars who performed well in the test.

I sat for this test last year. I recall a few weeks before the test day in my search for materials to prepare with, I visited this thread and painstakingly read through the comments of the scholars that wrote the maiden edition. It was there I first saw that Cinfores handled this exercise. I then searched Cinfores on Google to know their website and do my research on them. It was in the course of this research that I stumbled upon Brainfriend. I had to go purchase the software to practise with, and the few days leading up to the test I went through a very few questions from the software as time was very short (and needless to say I couldn't exhaust the questions in it). I had to do selective study at the time because I didn't know what test types (current affairs, driving ability, information technology, etc) could be asked. Thankfully for me on the test day while I was waiting for my 11 o'clock test time slot, I opened my laptop and went through some of the Current Affairs and Driving ability questions on the software. I recall guys even gathered around me as we looked through them together. I was exceedingly glad and surprised when I began my test to find most of those current affairs questions repeated verbatim. I eventually had a score of 71 that day.

Now am I a cheat Was I smart Was it just a stroke of luck or would we attribute it to the God-factor If you say I'm a cheat, I'd say I'm glad God gave me the "expo".

Clearly it isn't my fault as well that Cinfores repeated the Current Affairs questions I'd practised some minutes before I went in to sit for my exam. I only did a little research, purchased a study material, and sat for the test. I still attribute my success in the test to God because He gave me that wisdom and inspiration to do a background check on Cinfores. That was pure favour. And I also did my own preparation as well. (When opportunity meets a man unprepared, he most likely will miss it).

Now does this mean I'm better than those who didn't have up to my score? Heck NO!!! Many of my friends who I know were much better than I was back then in school didn't score as much as I did (and I'm glad most still made it). I am no match for many who didn't make the final shortlist. I might have even been the dullest amongst the rest; but grace distinguished me.

For those that contacted me(by email) before this test was conducted, I told them how I prepared and introduced Brainfriend to them. I however also warned them that the questions may not come from the software because no one would have seen the questions before the test day. So I encouraged them to practise with the software but still keep an open mind. Most of them did very well also and I'm very happy for them.

I urge you all not to begrudge those that had very high scores. They all took very big gambles which only paid off because they were greeted with questions they had "practised" before. Had they met things entirely different from what they practised, I'm very sure a lot of them would have been thrown off balance. I believe none of them was seen with any "chips" or already prepared answers during the exam. For all we know some of them might have also sat for similar exams in the past and practised extensively with this software, and not necessarily crammed it for the sole purpose of this exam.

A hearty congratulations to every one of you for having graduated with such enviable degrees. Congratulations also to those that did very well in the test, and those who didn't do too well also.

Yes that is possible as long as the new course you want to go for is among the list of courses available on the NUC website.
