Am a guy and i'll give you the best advice, break up with him.. he's still a boy, not matured. we should appreciate gifts no matter how small they are cos it's from the heart.. you sound so decent, you deserve a good man with manners
nigga u r a wimp, appreciate gift no matter how small pls dont generalise it, talk of yourself only

I tink some guys are getting it twisted here. The way the babe presented d gift to him isn't d real issue nor the triviality of the gift. To the guy in question, the gift has much more significance and meaning to him. Afterall had he gone to a wedding and was presented with such a gift, am sure he'll take it whole-heartedly. By presentnting that gift to him, the gf was indirectly asking him "when are we walking down d aisle"? "Na ur fellow man gave me this oooo 4 ur infor". U knw that many guys feel uncomfortable wen ladies try to coerce them directly or indirectly, consciously or unconsciously, knowingly or unknowingly to pop d big question. #myopinionthough#

Even if it was a handkerchief,he should have kept it and even if he wouldn't use it,he could give it out later.
You dldn't tell him you bought it,you told him it was a gift from a marriage ceremony.
I hope it was a one-off thing,if not,I would have told you to keep him out forever just as he walked out on you.

You are dealing with a guy who has an attitude.

Thank u at least some men still reason with deir heads

You are A very nice woman that shares everything with your friend. You even told him the source without lying, but he acted the way he did. He's simply sending you a message , that it's over btwn you two. Take it or you leave it, whatever you're doing with him from now YOU're OYO!!!

Haba that's harsh! I see nothing wrong with it. Who told you the shirt is cheap, not all ceremony gives out cheap things you know. For her to give it to him means a lot. Its a. Gift!!. She should have either rejected the shirt or given it out to someone, but she thought of her boyfriend and that's something.
imagine the first shirt your gf gives you is a cheap shirt with marriage imprint on you its like an insult to me o

you have no respect for a man's ego. so downgrading. giving your man a cheap shirt from a mere ceremony. you coudlnt even say it was a gift instead you just went agead to break it down to him that it was from a mere ceremony. if you wanted to give him something why didnt you go to a boutique and buy a nice shirt and give that to him? Girls so annoying. that is why i play them like football and score as many goals that i am able to.
hello?wat stupid ego are u talkn abt..y lie dt she bought it wen she git it as souvenir. Am sure if it were to b a rolex watch dt dey share in somr big society wedding he wld hv bn d one yo collect it frm her even if she sd she pikd it.abegggiii.dre is nutn bad in it, for her to hv given him it meant d shirt is unisex and she must hv pref giving him dan wearn...mscheeww guys and stupid ego, op just tk d cloth gv it to ur bro and if u dont hv one gv it to a begger ull be more appreciated....its not d weigh of a gift dt matters its d intention.

He asked me if i bought the shirt for him and i told him no, that its a gift from marriage ceremony.

The next thing, he took them and walked to waste basket and dispose them there.

I asked him why he did that, but without saying anything, he quietly walked out on me and closed the door.

I don't understand. Is it a sin to give your boyfriend something they gave you in a ceremony?

Is a sin, an insult! Infact u don't have regards for him. If my babe try this kind thing to my side I go give her a dirty slap first. Judging from his action, he is mentally matured and he a man of bright future, he may be out of cash now or with no job but he is sound!

I'm sorry but are you people crazy or suffering from something similar? Call and apologize for what exactly? That arsehole should be the one apologizing and someone like me will prolly not take him back.

What's wrong in sharing what you brought from a ceremony with your partner? The hediot asked for rice from the ceremony but felt offended when given a shirt? Like seriously? I'm speechless.

it's not a sin but a crime against manhood. As much as I don't have much in my bank account, I hate stuff of lo quality and gifts like that are always of very lo quality. The fact that your thread hasn't earn a ''like'' should give u concern na. My girl gave m something of such nature, the quality is poor for my taste. Guess what I dd? I turned it to ''duster'' immediately.

You're late that's why you did not cook, so the wedding is more important than your man, that's just ridiculous by preffering wedding to your man.

Chai! Its so obvious he is so damn insensitive and inhuman to your feelings. What kind of guy does what he did?

Ladies smiley. No it doesn't mean he is insensitive, he might just be tired of the love not being reciprocated (she said he is loving), he possibly gets her gifts, good onesvand she gets him boxer's. An item from the party is no gift to ur man, give it to ur brother's. A gift is meant to be worth something, thats when it can be appreciated.

you didn't cook for him before leaving and on your return from a wedding ceremony, all you could present were just some boring shirts,no wedding rice......
food matters most in this situation or you present both together....
Your mistake, just try to get along with him again and since you say this is his first time,an hungry man is an angry man.
