olatunji21: At this point am not for or against any aspirant. But am strongly against deceit. C d way ppl r commenting with joy n calling him president already... Hehehehe.. Well my point. .. Let's not 4get that ppl employ good writers to scribble speeches. Let's not 4get that others swore to b good n failed us Let's not 4get this is nigeria.. Let's not 4get that this man is very wise n so employs strategies. Let's not 4get he once said he will make nigeria ungovernable if johna won. Let's not 4get he once wished he could Islamize nigeria. . We 4get in a hurry. Wait until d dragon is unleashed. Don't 4get our politicians play humble until they reign. God Bless Nigeria. Who is right president for Nigeria? Seriously, I don't know. But one thing I know is "we should not be emotionally carried away about his eloquence "it is a "speech" we shouldn't forget that. One thing I see is a new emergence of leaders in Africa. A new breed without greed, prototypes emerging from Nigeria. Let's face the reality "If any president promised to transform Nigeria in 8years, he is deluded" you and I are new leaders that our children look up to. Not a 74, 58, 54 year old man. I love my country so much and I am proud of it anywhere. But I pray peace return before I return home. God bless Nigeria and God bless Nigerians. Together to greater height. |

Buhari's statement is very touching but I think he was just telling Nigerians what they wished to hear. I doubt it if he can really deliver. |

olalekan1:u and i knw that nigerians dont get carried away by speech, but the package u haue 4 them. That's why an obama with good sense of speech myt not win an election in nigeria if he's not ready to shear rice and money. From the response coming out as a result of buhari's speech, you can say Nigerians have positively responded to a speech for the first time in our recent political history , simply because they know the speech is coming from an honest man, incorruptible man and a courageous man. 2 Likes |

Tafidah: I don't want to believe you are a dummy.U read my post well. Did I call Jonathan's name? Again I will say, Buhari has nothing to offer Nigerians. If the future if for u and I, where are we now after we heard those statements and repeated them when we were younger? I don't if u were born when Buhari came into power as a military leader about 30yrs ago. I was not a kid when he ruled this country. So what the heck is he looking after 30 yrs? Ask ur self na. If APC brought out a goat (as u have said) as their presidential flag bearer to me it would a better person that OLD BUhari. Pls read this post well and understand it before writing out trash. |

sukkot: Bredrin, what is your opinion on this old Abraham Lincoln-esque (in terms of failing at the polls) wannabe man? I will like to hear what you think cos I don't trust Nigerians when it comes to cerebral decision making lol. And I don't want nostalgia. |

sukkot: I'm bless, bredrin. Wahh ya say? Yes, Abraham Lincoln wannabe is my tag for him due to how apparently he has failed at the polls lol. The Buhari man. I'm just trying to understand the hype. He might end up becoming a great leader, but his age is scary and it has "dead president" written all over it. Hopefully, he will select a great vice - and not someone as dumb as GEJ. |

dis election shall be a referendum on performance while in govt office. Wit no visible achievement, I can not in good conscience vote 4 GEJ. Just as he once rescued Nigeria frm d hands of d most wicked set of criminals & looters masquerading as politicians of d defunct NPN under Shagari, he shall rescue us frm d weakest, most corrupt ,effeminate & clueless leader in nigerian history. |
Re: Buhari's Emotional Speech @APC National Convention by Nobody: 7:06pm On Dec 11, 2014 |
sukkot: Lol, Mugabe is G but he acts somewhat senile sometimes these days lol. But still a legend though. Anyway, you can't compare life expectancy in Zim to naij. Zim just plummeted recently, yet the life expectancy there is still far higher than naija's. And Mugabe has been living a presidential lifestyle for decades. This man looks fragile lol. Also, Mugabe is far more educated, exposed, and intelligent compared to this man. Regardless, I will just watch as it unfolds. |

In 2003, I walked into obasanjo campaign in ibadan, we the audience thought he would deliver but his second term also turned to woeful failure. Those military generals are the main persons that destroyed this country. |
