AugustineAgain:All your Arguments about the Gripen are irrelevant, because Nigeria only has old F-7 jets, that you yourself proved are old and needed to be replaced. |

jln115: Another South-African Propaganda. I said news sources on the ground in bangui, was helmoed heitman on the ground when your troops were brushed aside by a bunch of farmers and children? Reuters, AFP, Aljazeera, AP all internationally recognised agencies do not corroborate your fraudulent bangui stories. They all say, you begged for mercy, raised the white flag, begged the french and we're humiliated. 1 Like 1 Share |

AugustineAgain: Why are you avoiding the question? Why would the grip allways fly at max speed if it does not need to? Why would it not fly at a more economical speed? Your argument has gone from " i have proof of 40min max loiter time" to "by my calculations" You response is long and pointless, a vain attempt to avoid the question Just answer the queation |

Henry120: SA existed long before the could be a country called Nigeria. 1994 was only the first democratic elections of SA and Nigeria's first democratic elections came later. So, should we say Nigeria started to exist only in 1996 or 98? |

jln115: Please bring a South African professional accountant here to face me, I have been asking since 2 years ago, no Southie accountant dared to accept my challenge o ! We accountants know NOTHING about product quality, how many will we know in this world? Cars, food, machines, aircraft, guns, furniture, building materials, chemicals, medicine/pharmaceuticals....etc You must be insaane to think accountants will judge tenders for all kinds of product quality world wide. It is the job of purchasing and supply professionals and the technical experts in each field of the products being purchased. Ever seen where accountants judge quality of chemicals and engines in this world? Full time fool, you Southie guys start an argument, trap yourselves in a tight corner of big error, and struggle to lie your way out of it, becoming more and more foolish and embarrassed in the process, instead of backing out of a wrong opinion when you still have some honour left....fools Fool of Pretoria where there are no qualified teachers in the fine painted schools . |

patches689: Type what, the same Sub that was in the docks for 7 years? You carried out a naval exercise with a couple NATO ships sailing very old vessels, nothing to be proud of brother. Deterrent you say, how are they achieving this deterrence from the freezer, with no funds to activate them if I may ask? They are more like Mandela monuments. Now, here's how you hold an exercise. In 2014, Nigeria held Africa's single largest Naval Exercise. Exercise Obangame Express 2014 had a total number of 40 ships (German, turkish, Italian, spanish, british, brazilian , Nigerian Frigates and corvettes in attendance) 8 helicopters ( 2 Nigerian A109s, 1 nigerian naval bell) 2 Fixed wing assets ( 2 ELINT compliant ATR-42, from the Nigerian Airforce) This is how you hold an exercise. Not 1 sub against some rust bucket European vessels. Mexico wants your Gripen so they can save you the embarrassment of continually storing them in a freezer. Not like you even have the pilots to fly them after 15 years. What is the use of keeping them? |

AugustineAgain: @agaugust, stop fooling yourself, you are not a professional charted accountant. Such professions will hardly find time to engage in military talks. What they do they mean business 24/7. |

jln115: Do you even know how you paid for those Gripens you have no money to fly? You had no money when you first ordered them, you still cannot afford them 15 years later. You got upto 40% in unpaid loans, you think any bank would grant you a fresh loan to purchase a fresh number of boats you cannot afford? If you believe you're getting new boats, you must still be stuck in lala land. |

jln115: Nigeria in it's current definition began in 1914, when it was amalgamated. We gained our independence in 1960, dropped the union jack, a flew our colour. We've always had large notable empires in Nigeria, which pre-date the british. Benin empire Kanem-bornu empire Sokoto caliphate etc etc |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 2:28pm On Dec 12, 2014 |
AugustineAgain:Yes Accountants dont judge quality, but in Management Accounting we use the information given by Professionals who do, plus information we calculated our selves to make a decision on which tender will be chosen, and in Financial Accounting we calculate by which means different tenders can be Financed and which are the easiest to finance. So yes an accounting degree(a proper one), has very much to do with Tenders. Do you Know what does ifrs stand for. |

FighterPilot: We have empires which predate you south-africans. Nigeria's first election brought in tafawa belewa as prime-minister of Nigeria in the early 60's. South-Africa on the other hand only began to exist in 1994. Your flag proves it. 1 Like |

Henry120: Lies!! Lies!!! Lies!!! SA has money to operate griffins, the only problem is that the prioritization of budget vote is focused elsewhere. The defense review will remedy the situation. As far as the bank loans is concerned your claims are unfounded because the griffin jets and everything else were bought on cash. The only items which were bought through bank financing were the submarines reason being there were reservations with their serviceability. SA, thus did not want to gamble with the tax payers money since the bank also approved insurances for them. |
