Ruleogo: For ur school u don't need any ielts or TOEFL to appply for your visa. Scroll back to Future dons post. U will see all the docs u need for SVP application. Its very straight forward. Are u going alone or applying with a dependent? Time isn't on ur side. Front load ur medicals and apply ASAP. |

Ruleogo: Bros u get money ooh. Two of u guys studying together! Just chill and settle down before she starts. Let her apply with u as a dependent. When she settles Down she can switch to a student visa. Oz is cutlass ooh. I feel its better to understudy the terrain before u over invest. My suggestion preserve ur savings and have her apply later after u both have settled down. |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by gogochocolate: 12:22am On Dec 13, 2014 |
malkinburg: abeg wetin u mean say oz na cutlass.make i understand |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Ruleogo: 8:02am On Dec 13, 2014 |
gogochocolate: malkinburg: You guys are just scaring me all. I have checked and checked about it, although we are deliberating on it.but really would she need to show bank statement if she is applying with my 2 year old boy as a student. Like I said before studying is priority A.... But the way I'm just seeing people complaining about studying in oz for the both of us makes it sound strange. We wanted to study in the UK before ,did all the necessary things but I didn't get the visa due to past mistake on my application, my wife did get ours but she couldn't go alone. Please someone should please explain further.Need to conclude on it .thanks |

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by malkinburg: 9:27am On Dec 13, 2014 |
gogochocolate: Its quite expensive compared to the economies within the neighbouring countries. Good pay high cost of living. One thing is sure. U work ur ass off, u can afford a comfy lifestyle. Just be careful not to burn through ur savings before u settle down with a job. |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by malkinburg: 9:33am On Dec 13, 2014 |
Ruleogo: If she is applying for a student visa SVP she doesny need to show bank statement even with the two year old. If she is applying as a dependent to come join u after u have departed, she can't dodge that bullet. Its a most to show acc statement. If she is applying as a dependent with u on the same application as urs, non of u have to show bank statement. Asper her schooling, am not trying to scare you. I am only suggesting that you two come along and settle down. Perhaps she can. Switch her visa from dependent to student visa after six months Of your stay. That way ur in a better position to know wassup and leverage the system to its fullest. Wish u all the best. |

Hello All, Pls when one gets PR as a family of 3, can the man go first and the wife and child come later say 3-4 months later? Any implications and will be this indicated on DIBP application form? Regards. |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 10:42am On Dec 13, 2014 |
izykvision0: Nope, no implications. There used to be a time the primary applicant must go first, but now, anybody can go first |

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by malkinburg: 12:58pm On Dec 13, 2014 |
kakazee: Yah u can. Anytime u want. The only thing is that the new visa ur dependent obtains overrides the former visa. If ur dependent is going to school then ur dependent needs to also get a student visa. But if he/she can bag a 457 189 190 it will make alot of sense and brings more privillages. |

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by malkinburg: 6:33pm On Dec 13, 2014 |
Ruleogo: All u have to do is upgrade your OSHC to cover your wife and child of 2. Use bupa from oshcaustralia.com cos alliance is damn expensive and they r equally as good. After that declare them and apply along with them on ur student visa form 157a. When she is ready to go to school she will just pay tuition and start since her health insurance is already running. U don't need any bankstatement to achieve this. |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Ruleogo: 7:02pm On Dec 13, 2014 |
malkinburg: Yeah thanks as always .I already got insurance cover for them.alliance .she too already paid the school fees and got coe but will inform the school that we are defering her admision till july. |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 2:11am On Dec 14, 2014 |
malkinburg: As your spouse she will still have to apply for her student visa, cos she is not allowed to undertake any course of longer than three months duration on a dependent visa. Whether she will need a bank statement or not will depend on whether her proposed program qualify for SVP http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/573-0.aspx |
