Senate President, David Mark, on Thursday admitted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has formidable opponents to contend with in the 2015 elections.

According to him, the opponents will give the ruling party a run for its money in all the elections come 2015.

The senate president stated this at the inauguration of the party’s National Campaign Council headed by its National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, which was held at the Presidential Villa.

This is solely because APC is the strongest and biggest opposition party in nigeria at present and Buhari is its presidential candidate. Thus, the strongest opposition party's candidate automatically qualifies as the foremost strongest opponent against the pdp's candidate at the presidential level.

They don't react to headlines without reading articles very well and dissecting it. There is a big difference between opponents and opponent. Read the article again, the initial headline of this article was wrong by singling out buhari alone. Pdp has formidabel opponents from every single opposition party and let me remind you that pdp has always been formidably challenged in every presidential election since 1999 and they have always won and the next one won't be any different
