I just realised there's a discussion thread.

I finally found out why my launcher keeps crashing, my SD card is faulty so it keeps getting unmounted at random intervals. Weird thing is that it's a new 16gig card...So when I'm playing music it just stops, since there's no sd card data to process, the launcher crashes! Its just comforting to know the phone is not faulty!
