I guess it all depends on the PGD you are applying for, it could be 1 or 2 years, and yes you can do MSc after, but you might want to apply for a Masters program directly if you are qualified.
Thanks.
Do you know how easy it is to get a scholarship to study in Canada?
My agent said he will get me a scholarship there since the fees are high.

1 or 2 years depending on ur course. Most agents cant get u MSc, if u ar qualified to go for MSc you will hav to research school that offer the program u want and apply to them instead of going for PDG bf MSc.

Whats your CGPA and which program are you looking at?
This should help

I don't know about scholarship, but your agent might have some information in that regard. I haven't been following this thread for a while, so I don't have any information about you, but then you might want to do a good research, before you proceed with your application. Get information about Universities, courses, tuition, and the rest. Don't just rely on agent information only.

You should know that schools dont advertise schoolarships, you have to email individual professors or potential supervisors on that.
Alot of ppl here got schoolarship but you will hav to put in alot of work.
Start now, exploit the link i sent u and also read part 5 & 6 of this thread.
You might get pass 2015 if u ar waitin for ur agent to get u schoolarship.

You welcome, wow, are you in the engineering faculty? They are the ones I know they always have their courses fully booked, anyways, I will seriously advice you look at those position on campus from today, the deadlines are always very short, and they are the best job you can get here...that's a good opportunity for PHD students. You might also want to contact your program coordinator as to the fully booked courses, but please look into the campus job. Very juicy.lol

Hi peeps... This e family is growing larger by the day.. Was thinking we could Organise a Canada nairaland meet up.. Something like insta meet for instagram where members meet up for picture project lol, but this would be for drinks or dinner... Maybe like once a year in major cities like Toronto, Lagos, etc... Would be nice to meet and chat with forum members around your city about experiences and challenges etc....... Just a thought...

I'm in! I'm in!! I'm in!!!
Did I just mention, I'm in!
For the last time, I'm in!!!
Brilliant Idea!!!

They are too many to mention, in my opinion getting minimum paid job is not a challenge, the challenge is balancing school workload with job "MIGHT" be difficult for the first few months... The workload here is mad.

You can use them if you have the resources they're quite popular, and then you can choose to do it on your own there's so much to learn on this thread and we all help each other here, a lot of people do it on their own and get their TRVs.. To know the documents you'll need try to read part 5 and 6 in bits to have an idea then you can come back to ask questions
Thanks again. Let me get busy now.

Apply for Trv with it. you can apply for a new one when you get to Canada, you can't apply for a new one yet, its still valid for a year ,I think u can only apply for a new one when its less than 6months
