Thank you for your response. The company has a good turnover of at least 5m naira monthly, cost of training 120,000 naira per person (5 persons going for the training) and each employee is to be receiving 200,000 naira monthly. Hoping for further response.

Hello nairalanders, I summit my application on 5th of December and on 15th I received a survey mail from UkVI and I also received a mail from tpcontact that UKVI have assessed my application and decision has been made,I ll be contact next few days to pick up my documents at my selected visa application center.

Pls have been nervous because its too fast due to stories have been reading on this nairaland.
I was refuse visa last month and I apply again this month .

Pls guru's tell me faith in this .

Hmmm! My dear we are in the same page. I was[b] refused on the 26th of November and I reapplied and submitted on the 5th of this month[/b]. I received a survey email from UKVI last night and that is all oooo. Nothing else, I am still waiting and praying that my visa will be granted this time around.

@justwise i have a quick question for you.i want to apply for a UK visa next year august for a short holiday in sepetember,but i think my case is a bit complicated.
1stly,i school and reside in tanzania(university of dar es salaam)
2ndly,i have been refused UK visa in the past 1st was in 2008 wen i applied to go study in the UK at 1 college then.due to ignorance and all i didnt know the school wasnt accredited so i was refused.
then in 2012,i applied for a general visitors visa in nigeria and at that time i was in Obafemi awolowo uiniveristy and i cldnt provide enough documentation to show my academic progress and all.i just submitted a letter from skul identifying me as a student.

so now i wish to apply by next year during my long vacation as i would be coming home to nigeria for my long vacation for a period of 3months.

i have been to a few countries from Tanzania(SA,KENYA,DUBAI,RWANDA,UGANDA) and i have valid papers(permits)valid for 2years

i will be sponsored by my dad,he is a retired civil servant and has some properties on lease for business.

what do you suggest i do and how do i tackle this issue and avoid been refused again...
can you pls list documents you feel i should provide?your response will be highly appreciated.

Your documents and the decision will be sent back to the either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will be sent directly back to the address you provided.
It was sent to me yesterday. Pls does mean I have my visa because this is my second time of applying

Pls i have 5 questions?
1. I am a forex trader and my broker is alpari uk, i intend to apply for visit visa to visit my mother a british citizen for 2weeks i would like to know which visa type to go for 6months or 2years visa.
2. Do i need a letter of introduction from my broker since am self smployed
3. I always pay myself two thousand pounds from my trading profit every month i have saved for 1year in my pound dom account 18,500. I do pay tax on only one thousand pounds every month from the two thousand pounds since am self employed i set my earnings here in nigeria. I have my tax recepit from firs and lagos tax office to show i have been paying my tax. I did not incorporate a business since that will require me filling company tax. Is this ok to show that i am financially ok to finance my trip to uk,to the embassy
4. I have landed property i am presently building it i have the deed of the property is this document ok to submitt to embassy to show that i have ties to my country and i will return back do i include pictures of the building too or are there any other documents i need to include.
5. Also are there any other items/documents i need to include to ensure my visa application is successful.

Ok, the salary structure needs to be explained in details using the additional information section, your company need to include tax certificate as well as company's bank statement. Details of the training program in the UK need to be submitted including the company in the UK giving the training.

just wise please i and my family got australian permanent residency visa recently but we are yet to migrate.We intend to pass through UK to visit family members on our way to aussie. i am skpetical abt applying for UK visa because i was denied visa before based on balance of probabilities. does having an australian permanent residency visa help ? should i indicate that on the form. i de fear rejection again.

Hey guys @justwise @Vicjustice . My brother just collected my Documents and it's rejected. I saw it coming though so....Btw my husband is so worried about it and he said we should re - apply. I told him we not going to do that till I get advice from you guys.lol I haven't seen the rejection letter yet but my brother told me they raise issues bout me not having strong ties to Nigeria plus my husbands bank statement plus they think he doesn't earn enough (£700) to take care of me for 5 months while I'm there blah blah. After all he stated in his later that he was doing part time job before but he is now working full time and he earns around£1400. And btw @Vicjustice they didn't say anything that shows they doubt our marriage. Nways now the thing is I have 2 plots of land in my name which was given to me by my dad, and I live in a rented property which was rented for me and in my name for 2 years starting July this year. Do u think that can be a strong tie even though I do not work? And do you think having £5000 pounds in my husbands account will be enuff? And because my husband lives with his parents in London, do you think we should include his dad's bank statement since he is providing accommodation for me while I'm there. And since I do not work, do I have to provide my own bank statement?

The two plots of land would be described as properties that stand in isolation, therefore, they do not represent tie.
Your joblessness wouldn't have been a problem had it been that the conditions of your husband's employment and his financial state is satisfying.
You are not required to provide your father in-law's bank statement even if he is accommodating you, yet, it is not a bad idea for your father in-law to get involved, but then, this will discredit your own husband and the application may be subjected to more questions especially if your father in-law is not very financially comfortable.

Thank you. My father in-law is a Doctor and doing very okay. But as u said i think we shud keep him out of it. So now that my husband works full time and earns £1400, and he will have at least £5000 or more in his account when we apply next month, do u think that will be enuff?
