Eni23:Not that you have to carry the whole cash but do have it readily available in your account just incase you need to show them at the port of entry....you can easily checked the balance in ATM machine and print out the statement for them to see. Cheers. |

Hi Damkollins, My application is almost ready to go...have 2 quick questions: 1. Can I submit a photocopy(black and white) of my fixed deposit certificate in addition to my original savings account bank statement? 2. How long does it take to get pcc from Alagbon and how much does it cost...would appreciate if there is any staff there that you can link me up with. 3. All other photocopies are in black and white including my passport front page. Would it be accepted? Thanks |

johnsontade:1.Yes. 2.Between one or two days . Between 5k and 15k depending on your negotiating skills... I can dig into my archives to get a contact for you.......but why don't you just send your application since it's not mandatory for you to include it at the submission stage? You can always submit it later during medical request when they will surely ask you. 3.You are perfectly fine. You said 2 quick questions .......they were three Cheers. |

Hi damkollins, pls I need an advice, I just got my bank draft from royal bank of Canada for the purpose of the on going fsw but a mistake was made on the draft, the bank draft was issued IFO of Receiver general of Canada instead of receiver general for Canada, can this pose a threat to cashing of the money. I would have raised another draft but the year is almost ending and before it gets shipped back to Nigeria might just take a while. Pls, I need a response asap on this subject. Anybody in the house can respond. Thank you so Zeelo much. I'm kind of assured that the issue of "of and for" is nothing to worry about. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zeelo2014: 8:54pm On Dec 16, 2014 |
damkollins:congrats technolee. Been having thoughts on that same issue too but I'm more comfortable sponsoring her later on after landing. It works for people especially if u can prove beyond doubt that it's genuine. I have saved conversations and pictures of about 6yrs ago. |

Thumbs up to all the heroes and counselors in the house! Like many others, I have been a silent but ardent follower of this thread. You are all doing a great job. My timeline is as follows: August 26th- Application Received November 21st - GTB Naira MasterCard debited December 15th - PER received. A big shout out to Damkollins, Solomonwise and the likes for their self-less services on this platform. Truthfully, if Nigeria had more of your type, then roles would reverse and Canadians would be hustling to obtain Visas to Nigeria. As the late radio host (Chaz B) would always say, "If each one could reach one, then each one could teach one, what a beautiful nation Nigeria would be..." While it is my prayer that all our "Canada dreams" come to pass, I would wish to admonish us all to take the burden of Nigeria to heart wherever we go. I believe there's still hope for our country and you might just be that person that God would use to solve the Nigeria-equation. I love you all. 4 Likes |

i have used additional sheets as some spaces are too small to fill in my details. instruction says we should not leave any space blank. can i write ' see additional sheet' in such places. does it matter if i printed and signed d forms on different dates? then for places that ask for periods is it compulsory i give the months. i cant remember what month of the year i entered secondary school ooo |

Team, i hail o, after submission, how would i know if there are issues or not? Will a mail be sent? Can i also assume that if all is well, i will get the debit on my card account 3 months later? gracias for your responses. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 6:08am On Dec 17, 2014 |
princessayinke:Yes you can write it. It doesn't matter . For the months ,just give an estimated truth about ur admission to secondary school in line with Nigerian schooling calendar . Cheers. |

Good day every body. Please I need advice and I need it urgently. My application package for fswp 2014 program is ready for submission for some time now except that ICAS , after three months now, have still not prepared my ECA report and I don't think it would be ready before the end of the month. Since 31st December is just around the corner, can I go ahead and submit my application to CIC and attach my ICAS File page showing that my ECA is in progress and that I will send it to them as soon as ICAS sent it to me? Will CIC accept it? I have gone through the Express Entry system and I think the current system is my best bet. Please advise me on how to go about it. Thanks |
