SAAF never claimed anything.

"No aircraft was shot down"?

It doesn't get reta..rd like this.

No you are the retaaard who thinks war game = real war.

You fire missiles in real war, the enemy stops your missiles with countermeasures self defense, then you realize you shot down NOTHING

Since when do parliamentarians know a thing about the military or become experts?

They just there to gain political scores.

hahahah fck you are stupd, you also said a golf ball would travel farther at sea level than at altitude. Thus implying that air is more dens at altitude.

But let me educate you once again:
As air rises, the pressure decreases. It is this lower pressure at higher altitudes that causes the temperature to be colder on top of a mountain than at sea level.

I see no relevance between your comment and my post. Your brain needs upgrade or refit....or both

NNS Aradu refit details 2005 was fully published. It's no big deal when you refit Valour frigate and the radars, missiles, guns, all remain the same....all SAN did was refit a new engine as your South African navy man Andrew Coetze posted here last year when he said the Valour frigate engines are dying fast because of patrol duties, German crap was sold to ANC government for bribes as usual....overpriced crappy Valour frigates with inferior missiles and defective combat suite....F-7 jet will sink your frigate like iceberg sank the Titanic.

Stealth Catamarans, you are still my dull student, so I have to teach you again, your source talks about patrol catamaran version, my source talks about combat catamaran version, reason why missiles were not mentioned in your inferior source.

Learn to post what you are asked, e.g when asked to write about army IFV don't post police APC....get it? Dullard, get it? Say yes sir....come on say it...
.
Fck i just wish there was a way i can teach you to read. Go READ the link i posted, its about your X-38 combat catamaran. And i quoted your own source as well regarding the boat, and you dont even know the difference between an IPV and an OPV, as you claimed that a Stan Patrol 4708 was an OPV , never mind the difference between an IFV and APC.

Better than 2 F-7 pilots!

We have videos of 3 F-7 flying. We produce aviation fuel we have surplus. F-7 is cheap to maintain. F-7 has the largest number in NAF's combat fleet NAF flew 1,148 combat sorties in 60 days.....with 2 pilots and 2 aircraft? No way! All our F-7s have pilots and are flying almost daily

No one invaded South Africa.

Boers had their country , Bantu tribes had their kingdoms or should I say countries as well.

In the 19th century kingdoms or countries conquered each other. The British defeated many countries/kingdoms in what is today SA.

Everything about SANDF has now become likely all because SANDF is so broke, no soldier is sure of his job because of impending retrenchment while all weapon/equipment purchase has been suspended indefinitely.

I hope there won't be an auction of SANDF equipment in the second hand market...

Aradu is currently undergoing a Refit.

SAAF, 8 pilot, 15 years
Project biro 17 years +
Your SUB, 7 years at the docks
If a SAN frigate appeared in your waters destroying your installations your navy would do nothing.

15 years? How did you conclude that.

17 years again did you read the 98 defence review.

All subs are operational. You have no sub.

That Damen is neither an OPV or IPV, at about 50m it is an MPV, I just said OPV loosely, I didn't intend to be specific, but yet a 47m Damen can go OPV mission at tines. You are wrong to call it an IPV, it's size is MPV mid-shore patrol vessel. You are also wrong to say they are for civilian fishing agency, nope, they are Nigerian navy's 5 units of the Dutch boats and will be the armed versions.

https://beegeagle./2014/05/22/nigerian-navy-expecting-five-dutch-built-ships-mystery-ships-believed-to-be-47-metre-damen-stan-4708-midshore-patrol-vessels/

Your limited source was talking about civilian catamarans, patrol catamarans, combat catamarans, all versions of catamarans and gave general information.

My source was focused on the topic of combat catamarans and talked about missiles on the catamarans and their stealth capabilities.

Your source did NOT mention missiles and stealth because it was general info for all versions. I did better research and got a better source directly relevant to the topic.

You were foolish enough to challenge me that's why you got yourself messed up, I warned you that the topic had been fully discussed and argued here last year among many people including South African military men, you should have been smart enough to avoid trying to prove me wrong on a topic I have fully researched into.

Don't misuse your google button next time, learn your lesson dude grin

@henry,buhari was ousted by the cowardly american puppet, babangida, not because he{buhari} was weak, but due to overwhelming military support on babangida's side.the war against corruption became unbearable for a number of corrupt top military brass, and predictably buhari was ousted.
the naira's devaluation by babangida under IMF conditionalities affected our economy negatively; inflation increased, import increased but burgeoning local industry were forced to close down due to high cost of production and overwhelming competition against foreign imports.yes,it makes sense to devalue the naira to allow cheaper imports and stabilize dollar reserves, but under what condition does it work?

The photo you posted is not SANDF knee mortar, lets see one with SANDF handle or grips.

Meanwhile, a handle is an old fashioned design with risks, your hand is to close to the metal, head wave radiates and you still feel it, then one little mistake and your back hand touches the hot mortar it will skin you alive.

Your SANDF version of knee mortar has poor safety design and is out dated.

Nigeria has advanced to build light detachable and collapsibe tripod stand to beat your poor safety standards

While for the Military they include

From the start of military aviation, additional crew members have flown on military aircraft. Over time these duties have expanded:

Pilot
Co-pilot
Air gunner, crew member responsible for the operation of defensive weapons, for example gun turrets. Specific positions include nose gunner, door gunner and tail gunner
Bombardier or Bomb Aimer is a crew member for the release of ordnance particularly bombs.
Boom operator, in the USAF the crew member on tanker aircraft responsible for operating the flying boom and the transfer of fuel.
Combat systems officer
Crew chief, an enlisted aircraft mechanic responsible for the maintenance and preparation of the aircraft.
Flight engineer, a crew member responsible for engines, systems and fuel management.
Flight officer
Flight surgeon, not involved in the operation of the aircraft but is considered by some militaries to be aircrew[citation needed].
Loadmaster, crew member responsible for loading freight and personnel and the weight and balance of the aircraft.
Navigator, a crew member responsible for air navigation. Still actively trained and licensed in some present day militaries, as electronic navigation aids can not be assumed to be operational during warfare.
Air observer
Rescue swimmer on air-sea rescue aircraft
Signaller or radio operator, crew member responsible for the operation of the aircraft communications systems.
Tactical coordinator
Weapon systems officer or "Weapon Systems Operator"

And a Gripen can take?

Pilot or Nvigator

All 18 of those men air airmen.

Now prove only 8 are pilots
