18 000 flight hours of 22 000 planned shows that we dont lack avaiation fuel - infact we have an exess

The fact that after i have challenged you many times, you still do not have a shred of evidence to support your claims of pilots

14 Gripen is what we need for our current force posture

18 000 flight hours flown by your Presidential Air Fleet. Yeah, bravo.

I've provided prove multiple times.

You only have 9 pilots for 26 planes, pathetic.

You had better sell off those planes to Mexico, it sure as hell won't take them 15 years to train 9 pilots.

I thought you claimed you have only 8 D models?
wow!!! 8 is such a big difference from 9, but i can understand it though, you most likely never did any math problems were the solution was equal to more than 1.

Why would we train more/= navigators than pilots if we have only 9 gripen Ds?

Question should have been why do you have only 9 Gripen pilots, forwarded to your Mod, not me.

Even if you have 26 pilots, which we know you do not, you only got 9,

26 pilots for 26 planes after 15 years still isn't a good number.

The Czech republic got their gripens much later than you did, yet they can muster 80 Air and ground crews for just 5 Jets, don't you feel ashamed?

Nigeria is getting 5 Midshore patrol vessels from damen. They are not IPV's.

Andrewza, is a naval officer, this we know for a fact. This forum isn't an Anonymous forum, it is the individual member who can choose to be anonymous or not.
Firstly your pic really make the stan patrol 4708 look more modern than it actually is, and secondly how do you know for a fact he is a naval officer?

BTW here is a pic of a stan patrol 4708 that Nigeria might be getting:

We have videos of 3 F-7 flying. We produce aviation fuel we have surplus. F-7 is cheap to maintain. F-7 has the largest number in NAF's combat fleet NAF flew 1,148 combat sorties in 60 days.....with 2 pilots and 2 aircraft? No way! All our F-7s have pilots and are flying almost daily
.

Nope

2 F7 pilots, its widely known fact

That is your own personal idea of it's photo and you are very wrong.

Nigeria is buying 5 units of armed Damen MPVs and the standard design is very different from your idea of a fisheries vessel. The military version is posted below with weapons shown.

Butt hurt, SAN still has no new OPVs tongue tongue

That Damen is neither an OPV or IPV, at about 50m it is an MPV, I just said OPV loosely, I didn't intend to be specific, but yet a 47m Damen can go OPV mission at tines. You are wrong to call it an IPV, it's size is MPV mid-shore patrol vessel. You are also wrong to say they are for civilian fishing agency, nope, they are Nigerian navy's 5 units of the Dutch boats and will be the armed versions.

https://beegeagle./2014/05/22/nigerian-navy-expecting-five-dutch-built-ships-mystery-ships-believed-to-be-47-metre-damen-stan-4708-midshore-patrol-vessels/

Your limited source was talking about civilian catamarans, patrol catamarans, combat catamarans, all versions of catamarans and gave general information.

My source was focused on the topic of combat catamarans and talked about missiles on the catamarans and their stealth capabilities.

Your source did NOT mention missiles and stealth because it was general info for all versions. I did better research and got a better source directly relevant to the topic.

You were foolish enough to challenge me that's why you got yourself messed up, I warned you that the topic had been fully discussed and argued here last year among many people including South African military men, you should have been smart enough to avoid trying to prove me wrong on a topic I have fully researched into.

Don't misuse your google button next time, learn your lesson dude grin

Nigeria isnt getting any dutch boats

No, Tende is NOT = Acquisition.

Acquisition = Purchase.

You don't have money, so you CANNOT purchase, except you pay with Rhino horns till there is no Rhino left in SADC region.

The other way is to steal OPVs that are built for other buyers and you end up in jail
.

Tender is the first step in signing a contract

They have been released

Next milestone is june next year when the winning tender will be awarded

This is how organized civilized countries operate, i dont expect you to know much about it

That is your own personal photo, Nigerian navy has NOT released any photos yet. Our own Stealth Type 056 is bigger and different from all others, name was changed to P18N after Nigeria's specifications demanded bigger size.

Pocket your gamble random photos, same way you posted over 5 different OPV imaginary fairy tale 'options' for South Africa.

Please stop messing up this forum with imaginary stuff, when SAN signs contract for a real OPV in year 2020, come back and post it.
Dont cry because i post facts, where are the su-30s, Jf-17s,Tucans,T84s, ect ect that you said nigeria will buy?

As for you catamarans, the X-38 come in different variants, mostly civilian variants, thus it was never build with stealth in mind, the only difference is they made the combat version a bit more sleek and it thus has a minimum radar footprint compared to the other classes.

The South African National Defense Force is reportedly considering selling off its Gripen fighter planes and its Agusta A109 helicopters as it has no money to operate them.

According to a Beeld report, the South African Air Force's 18 Agusta helicopters were occasionally enabled but the craft did not ascend.

Due to military budget cuts, the 26 Gripen fighters purchased in the controversial arms deal were also not being used. The report said that the SANDF was considering selling off the aircraft due to the lack of money.

Military expert Helmoed-Romer Heitman suggested that the SAAF was suffering from the state's indecision about its military expectations.

"An air force without fighter aircraft is a dead duck in Africa's military context. An army without helicopters and transport aircraft is a dinosaur in a swamp," he was quoted as saying in an IOL report.

"An army without attack and tactical transport helicopters is a lame duck. A navy without helicopters and maritime patrol planes is blind."

2013 report, but it clearly proves my point.

Let's first look at the Czech republic. They also operate the Gripen C/D.

For a recent Nato exercise the Czech Airforce deployed.
The Czech Air Force has deployed five of its JAS-39 Gripen fighter aircraft and a total of 80 aircrew and ground personnel to Iceland for the last quarter of 2014.

http://aco.nato.int/czech-jas39-gripen-deploy-to-iceland-on-nato-mission.aspx

Let me reiterate

Czech Airforce

5 Gripen C/D jets
80 Aircrew and ground personnel members.

Aircrew AND ground crew

South-Africa signed the Gripen contract in 1999, that's 15 years ago.

SAAF has at-least 9 D models, the two seater model.

SAAF has only 18 Air crew members trained for 26 planes.

9 D models = 9 navigators
SAAF is now only left with 9 pilots for 26 planes.

Patches689, J115, Mikeczar, mzilakazi, 9 pilots for 26 planes, is this a good number?

We can now all agree SAAF only has 9 Gripen pilots.

14 planes = 14 pilots
