I hate reading stories, i prefer seeing a movie....But this is really good and i av to admit i read every bit of d story....But since u want critics, i av to tell u despite da good write up, the story is very PREDICTABLE, as in i already knew what was going to happen b4 reading it...I think u shud add more suspense and sometin i call WRITERS EDGE( make pple tink dey knw wat will happen and den you put a twist to it by writing sumtin diff frm deir thoughts)...overall its still a good story

I wasnt thinking,I didnt want to think.

I lunged at him and punched him,he fell down from the chair. Blood came out of his nose....

"You bastard"he screamed as he came at me,he kicked me and punched me simultaneously.

"You bastard! I knew it. You are not my son,you can never be my son" He laughed sarcastically.

I wondered what he was talking about....I pushed him away and was about to hit him again when he said ...

"You are a bastard! You are not my son"
I dropped my hand.
"What are you talking about"

He cleaned the blood trickling from his nose,and stood up to face me. He laughed again

"I guess laila must have told you about our little affair" He laughed again,my fists clenched,I wanted to break his teeth.

"She was sweet" He laughed again as he downed the beer from the can " sweeter than your mother"

I couldnt take it anymore. I raised up my hand to hit him when he said

"Your mum cheated on me with my best friend" He wasn't laughing again,I dropped my hand

"What are you saying"

" Im saying you are not my son"

I couldnt believe it.
I just turned and ran upstairs to mums room.
I met her on the floor coughing seriously,I went to meet her,to lift her up,and i saw blood coming out of her mouth,before she fainted.

"Jesus!"

I just kept looking at the doctor.

Mum had been diagnosed of leukaemia four years ago but rather than treat it,she devoted herself to church activities and distanced herself from her loved ones. She was able to hide it because i didnt suspect she was sick even though within four years she had aged a lot.
If only i had known.


Dad really loved mum,but she broke his heart when she cheated with his best friend to have me. Dad was impotent,so for six years mum couldnt conceive.So she slept with his best friend,he found out and got angry,ever since then he started going to clubs,started drinking but i still cant forgive him for what he did to laila .
